Why was WW2 German doctrine such dogshit?
>German Reich takes over all of Europe
>lol the Wehrmacht was dogshit.
Germany lost world war 2 100% because of Hitler's poor leadership decision in breaking the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact pact while the UK still stood.
well, that and Japan bringing America into the war, which America was ready to not partake in.

>Muh bar
Haha, really?
>>30645817
As long as America and Russia exist, Germany will never be able to take over Europe. Germany took over Europe because they were fighting forces who were unprepared for an industrialized military force. Their war efforts ground to a halt after Stalingrad, at which point the war was virtually over for them. Even if D-Day had never happened, Berlin would've been crawling with Soviet forces by 1945. Once you get the Allied Rape Train moving, it doesn't stop for anyone.
Who: /K/ommandos in or near the El Paso/Las Cruces area
What: A weekend camp & meet for /k/ommando shenanigans including but not limited to; shooting, hanging out/loose, camping, tactically noping away from skinwalkers
Where: Butterfield Range near Las Cruces, NM
When: August 6th-7th, maybe 5th if you want to get there Friday afternoon/evening for an extra night out
Why: Is there anything else to do here?
How: Send an e-mail to [email protected] to join the slack. Hilarity will ensue, and good times will roll.
The only problem is its to far away for me so I can't go
>>30645589
Where are you at? A lot of /k/ommandos in Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio have been wanting to setup a meet, but no one has taken the initiative.
>>30645697
It's in the name. I'm apparently the only one from Abilene
Can wargame train me to be a military commander?
probably not a really good one
yes. Rommel played board wargames in his childhood.
Totally.
What's your opinion on glock knives? Have heard mixed reviews about these blades. While it isn't full tang it seems to be pretty sturdy regardless.
They're the bomb
If you want a knife to take with during military service, they're cheap and they work. If you want a knife for pretty much any other reason besides collecting, they're "eh" at best. Don't even bother getting a sawbuck blade unless you don't intend to use it.
>>30645200
Yeah, it seems like they don't have much functionality other than for combat purposes.
M and P Shield or Glock 43?
>>30643719
Glock over M&P for quality alone
>>30643719
Walther PPS gen 1.
>>30643719
hold and shoot both to see what you like more
I don't want to intrude on anyone's roleplaying thread and I don't have the time to go to every thread so I just decided to make this. You can use this post as you wish.
1) NATO nuclear sharing is a program where the US agreed to keep nuclear weapons available for use by NATO allies. The weapons were stored and secured by the US, while the hosting nations possessed the delivery systems.
2) There are 50-60 B61 nuclear weapons in Turkey. The exact mods are not public, but would likely be a mix of Mod 4 and Mod 7.
3) The weapons are stored in whats called a Weapon Storage and Security System. These are underground vaults that will store 2-4 weapons and when activated raise the weapons up for access.
4) Bypassing the WS3 without authorization would require enough force that the weapons themselves would likely be damaged or destroyed.
5) Even if the weapons are accessed, they contain safety features that prevent unauthorized use of the weapon. Attempting to bypass these systems physically would render the weapons inoperable.
However, even if the weapons could never be deployed as nuclear weapons, the US would not allow the weapons to become compromised. If the US had reason to believe that the weapons were about to be seized, there are contingency plans that involved everything from personnel on the ground blowing them in place to airstrikes from nearby assets.
The number of times SKYKING is repeated in a message is meaningless.
DEFCON warning system website is little more than fan fiction.

Thank you based OPpenheimer for clearing this situation up
>>30643332
I've been gone a while, hope you're well OPpenheimer.
>>30643332
Forgot to add that none of the aircraft in TAF inventory can deliver nuclear weapons.
And yes, it is silly to keep nuclear weapons to give to a country that can't use them at the point in a crisis when they need them the most.
Do standoffs like this ever actually happen in real life?
What's stopping one of them from just shooting the other in the forehead? Would the one who got headshot automatically pull the trigger as he dies (just from nerves) and kill the one who shot first?
>>30642252
Two weeks ago, about 17 days, I met face to face with an armed robber. We were facing down each others' barrels, wondering who would fire first.
I talked him down and convinced him to turn himself over to the police and everything went well.
Now here's the truth - some guy broke into my mother's house and I shot him dead.
Stop pandering to the leftist fantasy that guns are the problem. Guns SOLVE the problem.
>>30642303
real fucking interesting, anon, but your little story has fucking nothing to do with his question.

Go stand in the corner, dunce.
Hey, I'm not the organizer or the meetup but I went and scouted the area today with another anon and came up with these notes about how to get there and what my impressions of the campsites were.
The meetup is going to be this coming weekend, July 22-24. One or two of us might be going early to claim the spot(s) on Thursday.
I'm really hoping Tommy Thyroid will show up with his aunt and state trooper friend to keep our weapons safely locked up and cataloged.

Bring lots of water/water filter. It's the end of July in Georgia so it's going to be hot as fuck
>>30639566
>bring lots of water
this shouldn't be a problem since we are getting to the site by vehicle... load up your coolers with plenty of drinks and bring a gallon or two of jug water for cleaning, etc.
>>30639586
oh and also camp chairs, they are a god send
What if they put one on my lawn?
How many individuals do you have to tell to get off your lawn before it's okay to escalate without further notice?
>>30632358
Just call the cops, anon.
No need to kill someone for just standing on your grass.
What state do you live in?
In my based state, if I repeatedly tell someone to stay off my property and they refuse, I could probably get away with killing them and claiming I acted in self defense because I didn't know what their intentions were.
>>30632391
>No need to kill someone for just standing on your grass.
Communist. This generation needs to fucking learn what boundaries and private property are. They have no respect for either because they all live in apartments and have never owned a fucking patch of dirt in their lives.
In honor of the Let's Read: Victoria thread finally ending and autosaging. Post your writing, ideas, plot points, characters, bounce ideas off each other, whatever. Let's try to do better than you-know-who, although I suspect that won't be hard at all given that mashing your keyboard may actually turn out work of superior quality.
Won't let me post without a pic, so here goes.
A fan favorite from the Victoria threads:
"Cpl. Lesean T. Jackson, Silver Star for Gallantry in Action against an Enemy of The United States.
While serving as a squad leader, 1st set, 22nd Street Bangers Co., 215th Battalion, during the second day of the Battle of Lake Champlain, Cpl. Jackson's position was the brunt of a ferocious Victorian assault. Low on ammunition and the platoon leadership dead or wounded, Cpl. Jackson rallied the men and ordered a retreat. His rifle broken in repelling a previous wave and wounded in the leg, Cpl. Jackson elected to cover his men's retreat, drawing a personal 'hi-point' sidearm and engaging the Victorian forces. Through out the night, Cpl. Jackson's taunts and intermittent pistol fire sounded from the position. The last heard from Cpl. Jackson was a spirited cry of "215 nigga! We don't run from shit! Come on, you crackas, when I'm done with you I'm comin' for ya's women! 50 States 4 lyf!" When friendly forces retook the position the following day, they found Cpl. Jackson surrounded by no less than ten fallen foes. Cpl. Jackson himself was shoot no less than five times, and had died clutching his platoon's Flag of The United States to his breast, so the Victorians might not defile it. Cpl. Jackson was a soldier's soldier, disciplined twice for the use of PCP in combat but beloved by his men. His final hours show he truly lived up to the highest standards of the United States Army."

I might post something of my own later. Stay tuned.
Another how's /k/ thread.

Just got fired, first time too. For sharing my employee discount with my dad. New policy forbid it and I just gave it to him without thinking like I always did. Not super bummed, but I'm bummed I might have to sell a couple guns.
How's everybody holding up?
>>30649645
Eh. I'm okay
I'm moving up to Michigan in August to be with my woman again, but I'm struggling to save up enough money. I work a shitty job, I've put on too much weight, and I feel lonely all the time. Overnights suck dick.
My cousin bought me a 30 pack of cheap beer though, so I have that going for me.
>>30649645
Could be better, but could be a lot worse.
Just started a new job a month ago at a Garmin call center. Mostly pretty easy, sometimes I get real head scratching questions. I actually like helping people, and it feels really shitty when there's just nothing I can do. Most customers understand it's not my fault and don't get mad at me directly, but I don't like to disappoint people.
On the other hand, the pay checks are way fucking better than what I was getting working at Wendy's and I just bought a bunch of tacticool bullshit to slap on my new AR15 to satisfy my inner mall ninja and impress my friends who don't know shit about guns.
Bought some parts for the AR I'm building, so that's nice.
And I should be finishing up my summer semester at school soon.
