Henry's are nicely made, but no loading gate.

Not a major detriment in a hunting situation.

What the fuck is this
If you strapped a claymore (or other directional mine) to your chest with the bangy side facing away from you, could you detonate it to kill people in front of you without killing yourself?
I just read this crazy shit the South Koreans special forces used to do, and I was wondering if this was a suicidal kamikaze thing or a legit tactic,
>Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axe_murder_incident#Operation_Paul_Bunyan
>>30659746
Directly on your chest it's full suicide status. The direction of a claymore is the shape designed to direct the shrapnel forward, the blast itself and shrapnel from the mines casing will still travel backwards.
>>30659746
You will die.

What about on the back of an armoured backpack?
You could throw yourself to the group, hunch up like a turtle, and blow up everyone nearby
My dad decided to get an oil filter and a thread adapter to use as a suppressor for his ruger 10/22, he says that you dont need to do any modifications to the filter and you just shoot through it. What im asking is, is my dad gunna fuck up real bad? Pic related

I am curious if anyone here as any experience with these trigger systems or if they knew of a great one that was relatively universal. I know that these typically seem like gimmicks, but after firing my ex military friends m4(in full auto) and his AR15 with a slidefire, I bought one, and am very happy with it. I guess the main question is, does anyone know of an assisted trigger system that works, and what do they think of/or know about the hypergat. Also a general explanation of how they work would be great, ive seen different models, some people using strings, cranks, a bunch of different locks. Thanks.

It's fine if you want a gatling gun AR.

If that is merely a motor actuating the trigger continually as long as you hold down some sort of button, thats illegal as hell.
Are there any little saturday night special type pistols worth having? It sounds like they're all trash. I was thinking about keeping one in a hallowed out book or hidden somewhere in my computer room. I have a safe and other pistols, but I don't like the idea of owning a safe, a nice expensive pistol, and then not keeping it in a safe in the first place. Also something I can just throw in my pocket on a summer day is a bonus.
Hi Points are good to have for kicks. I have two. They're shitty but they do work.
It seems a bit pointless to stake your life on a shitty pistol.
I got a fie titan 25 acp. Havent shot it yet but it seems like a quality piece. Intend to start carrying it due to the tiny size.
time for another humor thread...

Bought one brand new (1/3 cowitness) for 425.
Good deal or am i a dumbass little BITCH?
That's a good deal. It's a fine red dot optic, on par with anything else on the market.
>>30659029
Where'd you get it?
I'm debating between the MRO and the Aimpoint PRO.
>>30659029
Sir bitch ass to you
First time poster on /k/. Not sure if this was the right place but here it goes.
>be recovering fatfuck
>used to play soccer until high school
>used to do taekwondo when younger but family too poor to keep me in so never got past green stripe
>picked up fencing in college but poorfag so didn't stay in long
>started lifting and current world happenings have made me realize I'd die really fast in any sort of fight and conflict
I've started a decent 35k/yr job in my field so I now have some disposable money. Looking at a few guns I'd be interested in buy and some knives.
But I feel like I really need to learn to fight as well. Like a proper fighting style or military-esque program without actually signing up for the force.
If i need to go elsewhere let me know. Thanks in advance.

Boxing classes now
But in general keep chin down SLIGHTLY bend knees when in fighting stance. Also invest in punching bag for practice a home it's also a good way to release anger.
there are a ton of these MMA oriented martial arts schools in and around any big city. even in small towns you have martial arts schools. thes are the best places to shake the rust off and get into fighting sports. MMA is basically what the military trains as far as hand to hand combat. supplement with some shooting classes and practice, and you are like 75% operational.
>stay frosty
>>30658960
What he said also, I did mma op but I kinda wish I also incorporated boxing in my fighting style.
I want to get my first gun, I want it to be a six shooter.
Cost is not really a worry
What does /k/ recommend?
Heritage Arms Rough Rider.
Ruger Single Six.
>>30658687
if you're thinking about hand-loading ammo, I might recommend an Italian Bodeo. There are some with folding triggers and some with trigger guards. The caliber is in the .42 range. You can get reloading supplies (brass, bullets, dies) on Buffalo Arms website. It's a neat gun; uses a loading gate, and most of them that you will find can use smokeless.
Does it have to be single action?
In my personal opinion it's Russia because of the Kalashnikov AK-47 which is overall my favorite gun. But what countries do you believe are the best and why.
Overall?
Belgium very closely followed by Germany.
This is coming from a 100% die hard slavaboo
Czechs

I like Russia, but probably Germany.
