I've noticed ammo I store in plastic ziplock bags is getting less shiny. Over a few years though.
Will this have any impact on performance?
I store millions of rounds of ammo, but only around 100k in zip lock.

I'm an ammo prepper.
I found many years ago, prepping actually makes me feel happier than shooting. So why not do what makes me feel best?

Can someone give me a crash course in bullets? I just recently acquired my first arm, ever. And I've always been curious to learn more about the differences in the caliber and size of a billet, and what each is intended for and capable of doing.
To put it in perspective, I only know about 9mm and 50 cals, which I know that the latter is intended to bring down fucking airplanes.

In my state, it is illegal to sell AR lower receivers to anyone under 21, as it can be turned into a SBR or pistol.
My question for you, /k/ is as follows:
What is stopping somebody under 21 from buying a full-length rifle, removing the lower receiver, and building a pistol off of it?
What would the potential legal ramifications be?
I'm 23, own a few AR-15s and never understood this law. Seems pretty dumb to me.

Baton Rouge Police recovered these firearms from the shooter.
Can /k/ confirm the accuracy and specifics of these weapons for my personal home defense? Would they be useful for home defense and good to shoot at ranges and teach my young son gun safety?
I am considering buying firearms to protect my family and personal possessions from criminals and thieves.
PS: I have personal friends of officers in my city on duty as we speak, and they are like family and wish them the best in defeating crime and protecting our citizens.
