I found this while cleaning out my grandmas house but I'm not sure what it is. The markings on it are hard to read but I can make out: "1858" "newyork USA" "new model". The rest of the markings are too hard to make out.
If anyone has any information I would appreciate it.

What is up with that cylinder? There are no cuts for the stop or the nipples.
Is the M67 still the best hand grenade around or has it been surpassed by some other design?

I've wanted a Martini Henry ever since watching Zulu. Do any of you guys have any experience dealing with IMA and what was the quality of your gun? I'm thinking of buying the untouched mk II short lever or the MkIV long lever for $595.

I bought one in 2010 and it arrived in better condition than I had expected, came complete, no missing parts. Cleaned it up and it's a shooter.
I bought another one last month and was disappointed. Wood was rotted and it was missing parts (no buttplate no rear sights).
It could be that all the good ones are gone and all that is left are the dregs or it could be just random luck. Hard to tell with only two data points.

I was going to draw something involving an AA-12 with a 32 round magazine (because apparently those exist), but I couldn't find a single picture of said magazines. I wanted to get the scale right, so I wanted to see an AA-12 with the mag. Do these actual exist?

Huh. I was about to call you a massive retard because AA12s are seen more often with drum mags than without, but now you mention it, they're only ever 20 rounders. Instead of spending billions and billions, and putting tens of thousands of seamen at direct risk on a single conventional naval engagement; wouldn't it be much simpler and more effective to HAHO or otherwise insert a handful of divers into an enemy fleet and covertly place explosives directly on the hull of a ship?

Not happening. Save your shekels for at least a pvs14 or better yet wait until FLIR shit gets really good. Now FLIR really is the force multiplier that theytalk about when they talk about NV.

Realistically all I'm wanting (for what I'm willing to pay) is the ability to make out a human being a human at night with very little to no light.
And I could never justify a fucking 3k+ NV scope.

I've never shot or seen an ACE but this seems identical to am AR. The free floating firing pin means it contacts the primer when the bolt chambers a round. It is not a problem.
