Us & Ru together would be hard pressed to lose even a conventional total war against the rest of the world.
The main danger for them are Europe (which is too small geographically, and would likely be subject of a pincer early on), China and India (who have close to 0 force projection to really hurt RU) and Japan (see Europe)

Combined there's not much that could stop a USRU force.

The first year would mostly be slaughtering the Chinese army as it invades russia. After that Europe would be next. That would be the toughest obstacle. At least till the EU falls apart and starts negotiations for separate peace deals.

Britain and France, which are the only two countries with nukes that can reach the US, know that their launches would be seen and the silo based ICBMs in the US would be launched as a counter attack before any ICBM could get to them. Targets would be military bases, ports and industrial centers.
