>Identified only as Ace and Sheila, the couple said the job is initiated when they receive a phone call from their boss, who is “a well known policeman”.

Would you operate innaslums and eliminate drug dealers for $100 a pop, /k/? It looks like under Duarte there would be plenty of work.
I'm sure that /k/ommandos could do a pretty damn good job, providing we learned some Filipino.

Yes and if I had some friends who are competent and willing to participate I'd go kill drug dealers in Brazil

It's fine until the drug politician that you are offing his street ppl puts a price on your head. It's not an "anti" drug war. It's just another turf war.

The M666 is a multi-purpose nuclear tank round.
It can be set for conventional explosion, and be set for shaped-charge explosion.
Vastly superior to DU APFSDS, the M666 replaced all 155mm tank ammunition for the M5 Tank.
Lets make it happen.

Grandpa Hickok's tube channel has been around a lot longer than Jerry's.
Unless you also had a background in competitive shooting, 3 or 4 years ago most /k/ommando's had never even heard of Jerry.
Everyone here knew Grandpa Hickok then, though.

He's /k/'s other Grandpa
What is /k/'s opinion of this dude: your guy?
>>32119090
Who?
I'm sure he's a nice guy but my granddaddy didn't stack Jap bodies 10 ft high at Iwo Jima just so I could pal around with them 60 years later.
Nailguns don't work as projectile weapons, even with disabling the push safety
The nails have no stabilization, so they rarely hit nose first
Im turning 21 soon and plan om buying a pistol. I own and have been shooting shotguns and rifles since I was a kid, but my pistol shooting experience is limited. Convince to buy or not to buy a snub nose smith and wesson as a first hand gun.
Go ahead if you want, that's not a horrible option. However if you're wanting to conceal carry it, the cylinders can be a bit thick compared to double/single stack semi-autos (G43, G26, M&P 9c, M&P Shield). If you want a general purpose, fun gun, you may want a G19/G17, GP100/SP101, or RIA 1911.
>>32119015
Snub nose will limit accuracy, but otherwise a good choice op. I have the 3 1/2 inch barrel version and i love it.
>>32119015
Thats a fucking awful choice t b h senpai. The 638 and 642 are designed specifically to be as small as possible with a comfort level that's the bare minimum of "shootable"
Unless you're concealed carrying, which it's also a few decades outdated for, and even then you'll only want to shoot it enough to be OK with groupings. It is not a range gun.
If you want a fun revolver, model 10s and 64s are $300 or so
/k/ recommended that I watch The Siege of Jadotville so I did and it was basically a shot for shot remake of the Zulu from 1964 with some bullshit political stuff that no one cares about stuck at the beginning and end.
Think about it, an inexperienced band of soldiers with an officer who pretends to know what he's doing from a loser part of the (former) British empire, Wales for Zulu and Ireland for Jadotville, is sent to some godforsaken place in Africa where they think they are going to have a very simple operation and will get to just chill out and do some work. Some dindu warlord gets triggered for one reason or another and has his dindu army attack the white kommandos at their cheap outpost that they have to quickly cover in sandbags to prepare for war. In both movies the commanding officers try to get reinforcements before the fighting really heats up but are outright rejected.
The battle sequence is so insanely similar it absolutely has to be on purpose. Dindus make one cheap rush at the anglo operators and get shot to pieces until they run away and the whiteys stop shooting. Then the dindus rush again but this time in bigger numbers and they have some really bad marksmen with stolen rifles that they clearly can't operate, in Zulu these are Martini-Henrys and in Jadotville they are k98s for some odd reason. In both cases the rush fails and the dindu marksmen have almost zero effect other than annoyance. In both movies a lot of attention is put on the men taking around ammo to people actively shooting.
Then, in both movies, a series of small skirmishes continues into the night while the men get tired sitting at their posts and the two officers start to lose their cool while they try to figure out what to do. In the morning they realize they are about to face a gigantic zerg rush so they come up with a crafty plot to do a bluff retreat and shoot up the enemy. (1/2)
(2/2) In Zulu they have some men at the front lines draw the enemy into a choke point where they can be torn apart by riflemen who jump up from sandbags and in Jadotville they plant dynamite in boxes of spent shell casings that they blow up on the dindus when they get close. In both cases the dindus get freaked out and run away while the whiteys take a few potshots.
In the ending of Zulu the Zulu army stands in a line around the whiteys and sings a song that apparently means they are honoring the Welsh as 'fellow braves' and then disappear, leaving the Welsh alive. In the ending of Jadotville the dindus line up in front of the Irish and send out their white PMC leader who basically salutes the Irish leader before walking away. The Irish surrender afterwards but it is made to look like they are doing so with honor as some sort of respectful agreement with the enemy and they are happily released from prison a month later. In Zulu only a handful of white people die and legions of dindus die, in Jadotville zero white people die and legions of dindus die.
Jadotville is basically an expensive ripoff of Zulu, an excellent movie with actual feeling, with FN FALs instead of Martini-Henrys and some guy who was in 50 Shades of Grey instead of Stanley Baker as the lead.

>shot for shot remake
That doesn't mean what you think it means.
>>32118960
That was hyperbole, but some parts of it are practically shot for shot in the battle.

Dear /K/
All this AI talk is starting to worry me.
As the last line of defence for humanity. How does /k/ suggest we fight the inpending robot menace.
I feel like bullets might not be as effective.
>>32114311
Maybe you should read a halfway-realistic newspaper instead of that abominable rag.
True self-aware AI is probably not going to happen in the next 200 years. We're getting really good at making believable chatbots, but that is in no sense of the term "intelligence".

There's going to be a gunshow tomorrow at the Hampton Convention center in Hampton, Virginia. This will be the first gun show I'll have ever gone to, and I was wondering two things :
Are any of you guys going to go to this gunshow, and what exactly should I look out for?
General gun convention thread.

>Whaddya need one o' dem military assault rifles for, you'll blow the deer in half!
That should sum part of a gun show up for you.
If it's anything like the one in Richmond it'll be:
>three tables of reasonable gun sellers that have probably sold all the good shit already
>twenty tables of garbage tier milsurp or bargain bin AR's selling for double MSRP
>200 tables of not guns.
Don't waste your time. Gun shows in this state blow.
Watch for all the morons who bought a bunch of ammo because they thought Hillary would win.
They will try to sell it to you at panic prices. Just laugh at their dumb asses

Knives aren't guns
Want to buy my brother a good survival knife for Christmas. I'm leaning toward pic related atm. Cold Steel SRK.
Also considering: ESEE 6, Kabar Becker BK2, Buck 119
Anyone have experience with these knives or other similar recommendations? I'd rather keep it under about $100.
>>32106931
SOG seal pup elite with kydex sheath. It's a good knoife m8
ESEE is the best built knife of the list.
>>32106931
Get a Becker bk7 or bk10 over the bk2
The srk is fine too, the sheath on it and esee will be the better stock sheaths
If I were to get an esee it would be the cm6 but that is around 130 lasting checked
