I was just reading the application for a C&R License, and I noticed it said a holder of the license may dispose of C&R firearms to anyone within their state. Would that include even pistols like the P64 pictured? I live in Pennsylvania, so long guns I can give to anyone but pistols need an FFL transfer. Are C&R pistols an exception to that rule, and is it only if you have the license?
By the way, Classic Firearms has these on sale for $200 right now
200 bucks? Damn I paid 280 for mine in January.

PA thread?
>>32102629
Is there a reason to but theses even if you already own a makorov and CZ 82?
I don't really know a lot about the use of concussion grenades the conflicting news stories about the DAPL protester's mutilated arm seem kind of sketchy.
Can we compare and contrast the effects of what the explosive culprit could be? I would assume a propane tank bomb would cause more burns, but again, I'm not sure.
Here's an image from the Sheriff's page of the "explosive". Doesn't look punctured or anything, just charred on the outside. I can post the photos of the injured arm too if you want.
>>32103866
Looks like a camp stove fuel bottle that someone tried to light. Would make sense that someone in the camp would have one.
>>32103875
True. All sorts of camping supplies would be there. Plus I don't see any burn marks or anything indicating that it was a propane bottle.
Hey fags,
I'm looking into different jobs in the US Navy, and stumbled upon GM (looks pretty damn /k/). Any information/stories about the job?
>>32102273
>Gunner's Mate
There's a job you'll spent three years bitching about and how you can't wait to get out. Then reality will hit that a gunner's mate has no skill in the job market and you'll be unemployed and bitch about how your time in the navy was the best time you ever had.
tl;dr be an electrician or plumber
>>32102300
What if you plan on using the gi bill anyway for a degree? Then spend 4 years in the navy doing the job that's pretty much playing with guns.
>>32102327
You'll get out at 22, won't start school until 23. You'll be in classing with a bunch of crying 18 year olds. You should really look at the number of people who don't use the GI bill. It's way more than half. So, although that's your plan, there's a really good chance that you'll never use the GI Bill for school.
You should also read your enlistment contract before you sign it. No position is guaranteed. If you're shooting so low for a Gunner's mate position, you probably don't have the smarts to use the GI bill for an education that would be worth anything.
Im really bored. Any /k/ aproved movies?
>>32101989
chiraq.
it's anti gun and pro Google search.
guaranteed to make you rage.

Looks like a really bad movie and not worth watching.

how about Full Metal Jacket?
A revolver with a high barrel or low barrel?
>caring about aesthetics
>whichever one you get, make sure to get it engraved
>>32101955
low
less jump but more recoil into your hand
Low barrel will make it easier to control recoil even with shitty technique, but speaking about aesthetics the classic is better

I like how they're trying to blame 3D printers.

>THE MOST SOPHISTICATED OF IT"S KIND
>a fucking drill press
What in the fuck is wrong with Australia?
They should make that illegal so people can't do it, oh wait.

Chink-copy next year
Wait a minute? Why are military hardware transported this way?
>>32101799
how else are they supposed to get from point to point?
Concussive force, let's talk about it.
I've heard just about everything regarding bulletproof vests and concussive force: from "the effects of concussive force are widely overrated" to "bulletproof vests are nearly useless because even the shock of a .22 will turn your insides into mush." (I might have inflated the second statement a bit.)
What do you think, /k/? How true is it? For what kind of vest/plate/caliber?
>>32101403
I have personally watched a man take a 7.62x39 to the chest while wearing an IBA, get knocked to the ground winded, and then stand up pissed off to a degree normally reserved for hornets and yellowjackets who have just had their nest kicked.
Their entire chest was a nasty purple bruise for a while and I've heard it can easily break ribs, but they're still plenty combat capable.
>>32101403
If vests and plate carriers were useless I doubt modern militaries would use them
Besides, mortality has steadily declined in wars and I believe vests and improved medical treatment play an important part in the trend
>>32101403
Hit to soft armour will undoubtedly beat you around a fair bit, maybe crack some ribs and there's always the danger of fibrillation on the heart.
But, its better than being shot with no armour!
>>32101440
I've copped one as well to the plate, it really fucking hurt, bit winded and I was quite unhappy. Was talking to someone else here a ways back in another post that reckons the ceramic-composite plates are better than the metal issued ones we got, for taking the sting out of it.
I want something capable of taking down medium to large game, but easily carried on the side of my pack.
What would you guys suggest?
>>32101340
a take down rifle or a bullpup or lever action (or pump) in 30-30 or similar. .223 can be done with heaver bullets like 77gr or so.
the idea is to get it to fit either in or comfortably packed in a pouch or scabbard on the side of a pack. otherwise you sling it underhandedly and unloaded.
i backpacked forever with a marlin 336 in 30-30 and it was great for mountain goats, coyote, mule deer, and one time bob cat.

To people who say mosin is not good rifle, how explain greatest sniper in all history, Simo Hayha, earned his kills using Mosin.
Is good rifle.
it's häyhä not hayha
>>32101250
>Post great purge red army
>unmotivated russian conscripts
He'd probably have the same amount of kills if he was limited to a slingshot
>>32101417
This. No matter how much you hate communism, this.
Sad thing is most of the conscripts were Ukrainians. And the fact that Karelia is still in Russia to this day.
I absolutely need a bench vice for a project.
I have no money for a bench vice.
I just moved across the country and have no friends yet with a bench vice.
How can I access a bench vice for 20 minutes or so? I called home depot and Lowes, they said I could use theirs, but when I told them I would be putting a rifle in it they told me to fuck off.
Make a Craigslist post offering your ass and/or mouth in exchange for bench vice time. 1 minute for 1 minute sounds like a fair exchange rate.
>>32101193
Sounds fair. I'd let him use mine for that deal.
>>32101169
I mean, if you're near me you can use my shit mang.
Youll be searched before going anywhere near my house or family though, being a /k/ommando and all. South carolina?
Wat do /k/, do I buy a PC or a model 29?
Model 29!
what was wrong with models 1 through 28?
Yes. The answer is yes.
Fuck piggies, duckies, tractors, farmers, trains, birdies, doggies, kittens!
My 2'yo son saw me reading my military history mag a few days back, and now he's all into tanks, airplanes, rockets, canons, battleships...
I sit with him on my lap, he hugs daddy, points at aircraft or tanks and I tell him about it, and he loves to listen, he's like, 100% focused on what daddy tells him, even if he doesn't understand most of it.
I'm so fucking proud I just had to share.
Don't listen to the commie-jew propaganda, bros, multiply! :)
>>32100859
Most kids are into military shit at an early age. It's all angles, big explosions, guns, and a bunch of badass-looking dudes doing badass-looking shit.
The only boys that don't like that sort of shit are trained not to do it by overbearing parents. Just let the kid like what he wants, I guess.
You sound faggy as shit anon, but hey - grats on your kid being cool. He'll probably turn out alright.
You're a faggot.
>>32100859
Congrats, although 2 years is extremely young, and as you say it, he doesnt understand most of it. But yeah, quality time between son and father.
When he gets older then you can see how it turns out, although in puberty they often turn the extreme other way. (Watch out)
What happened to these brassless shotgun shells?
I've read good things about them, that they worked just fine and were cheap
Where did they go? Does anyone have experience with them?
>>32099853
Did not work in many guns, semis and pumps specifically.
Not enough demand so the company folded.
>>3209986
what problem did they have in pumps?
i wonder if with todays technology something like this could be done better
>>32099853
I remember these, ACTIV was the brand. I used to shoot them by the truckload. Pity, they were good value.
