How would you handle the Blob /k/?
>>32863495
My dick.
>>32863495
A spoon
Get thousands of people to get mason jars and collect the blob in the jars and seal them.
Which shooting stance does /k/ prefer?
Personally I can only shoot rifles standing like pic related.
>>32862888
This position doesn't work well for me for some reason since it beats up my shoulder more despite supposedly being better for absorbing recoil.
>>32862888
where can i find a stock like that
>>32862888
I do best with handguns when I lock my shooting arm and shoulder out, and use my shoulder as a cheek weld. The support arm and shoulder are not locked and provide less than 30% of the gripping/stabilizing force on the gun.
I've only seen one other person shoot like this and that is hickok45. So I guess I use the hickok45 stance.
I'm really considering buying one but I don't know if they are decent rifles or not
I own a Ruger Scout rifle chambered in .308. Goes off like a small cannon, and with proper optics and sighting, it is fairly accurate. Plus it was only $850. In my opinion, Ruger is an excellent manufacturer, and they provide plenty of bang for your buck.
>>32862589
Looks like a Savage Axis clone.
If it shoots like that, it'll probably be a great rifle.
Savage shoots better is is the same price if not a bit cheaper.
Anyone in the US Navy who has served on a carrier, how loud and amazing is the sound of the roar of the afterburners on the these irl? I'm dying to know!
>>32862273
Go to an air show m8. What poor country do you live in?
F/A-18 just incase you couldn't tell!
>>32862273
After burners and other sounds jets make get old real fast and are fucking annoying

American made CZ's coming out this year. Your thoughts?
we thought things were as shitty as possible but somehow it got worse.

I'd get one if the modern kind didn't look like shit.

As long as you have it might as well see how much smokeless powder you can fit in the barrel.
thats cool, i dont do any BP but id definitely give it a try for $60
Guns that look like pic related
Sorry don't know the specific name I just love the way it looks
Flintlock

Is Flintlock
Swedish officer flintlock pistol
1733-1760 French Dragoon Cavalry Pistol
all you need is a flaming beard and a ship
Hey there, /k/. I've been looking at a variety of potential carry guns, and I think I'd like a Steyr M9A1 or L9A1. Are they good guns? Are they well suited for IWB carry? I've never tried IWB, so I'm a little worried about concealment.
>>32861402
I used to have one, I liked the sights, the grip angle was too aggressive. It was an early gen so the extractor was weak and I started getting stove pipes and double feeds around the 1k mark.
They are double stack so pretty thicc for CC but totally doable.
As with all hand gun recs, go finger fuck and preferably shoot as many as you can before you buy.
>>32861421
That's what I've been doing. The Styers never show up around here, so I finally got to handle one today and liked it. I like the grip angle, felt excellent in my large hands.
I've tried CCing with a shoulder rig before, and while it worked well for me, I keep hearing IWB is the way to go. But the M9A1 seemed as THICC as my old G34. I assume that's a bad thing.
>>32861460
Shoulder holsters suck because cross draw and often sweeping people behind you.
>But the M9A1 seemed as THICC as my old G34. I assume that's a bad thing.
Specs list it at 1.2" in width, gun I carry is 1.35" in width, to me it wouldn't be an issue with a proper holster.
Is joining the army a good alternative to killing your self?
Also how is the leave's army, are they as much as a joke as I keep hearing?
>>32861024
Killing yourself is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
Call the suicide hotline anon, it's not worth it.
>>32861024
Did a bunch of fake kids fake die by a fake gunman in Canada?
If you kill yourself, don't use a gun and add to gun violence statistics. Just wear a MAGA hat and provoke protesters into beating you to death or something, help the cause
What's everyone's favorite .45 pistol? I'm in the market and I'm curious what /k/ fucks with.
1911, but it's better in 9mm.
Inb4 claims of heresy when ESP 1911 shooters outnumber CDP.
The correct answer.
For those of you who have shot the H&K VP9 or VP40, the only negative I keep hearing about these is the trigger pinching your finger against the triggerguard.
I have 2 other striker fired pistols, the Sig P320 and the Springfield XDM 3.8, which is too different to compare, so I'm comparing the H&K to my P320 to see if I'd rather the H&K.
Opinions from those who've shot BOTH the P320 and the VP9.
i've gotta give it to the VP9
+1 for VP9
Don't bother with the vp9. You can find better options. Literally go and try every other polymer 9mm that is the same size. You'll find something you like better, I guarantee it
>>32862036
Please state what you dislike about the VP9.
I don't get it. Why do you choose not to carry an Alien Gear holster? They are superior to anything on the market in terms of price, quality, comfort, function, and concealability. Everything else is complete dogsgit compared to ALIEN GEAR HOLSTERS.
>>32860747
>leather-plastic hybrid holsters for Glick-brand Glucks
yeah, fuck off.
>>32860762
Not OP but....
Not an argument
>>32860774
>Not an argument
ofc its an argument. the trigger guard must be fully enclosed by hard plastic that's crack resistant. the fucking cheapo glock holster is a million times better then OP's pos. just get the appropriate clips for your carry method and belts from ebay and epoxy, rivet, screw or whatever them to the holster and you're set.
Let's get a nice F R O N K appreciation thread going on here.

One does not simply summon Mr. X9.
But good luck doing it.
The browning M1919 and M2 have been in the US military since the early 20th century. Has there ever been an attempt to replace it? Why has it been so successful of a design that it hasn't been?
Why fix something if it isn't broken?
Also, sounds like anything that is made can't really compete against something that is easy to maintain and reliable
Reminds me of a 1911
We should ask glock to make a polymer striker fired lmg
>>32860514
The military doesnt always follow the "dont fix what aint broke" mentality.
Its just impressive that for the last 100 years there hasn't even been a mention to replace the two designs with maybe a more modern weapon.
Nothing has come along that makes it worth to completely replace it and its long-established logistics chain. Everything that's tried has also had reliability issues or a near-useless RoF, usually because they want to make it "light weight", even though a .50 is entirely meant to be mounted on vehicles or static positions.
Behold the new technological marvel of superior german industry!
>>32860270
Is it two pounds too heavy again?
>>32860270
