His innaccurte bullshit on the AK triggered the fuck out me.
yeah these are fun
>>34094316
The Cold War was still going strong when these were filmed.
What is /k/ doing tonight?
>>34094179
its mid day here and it looks like rain. Need to bondo up the rust holes in my surf but can't because the weather is crap. probably just going to get some chu-hi's and coco's curry
>>34094193
Chu-hi's are the shit, they really sneak up on you
>>34094216
especially the 9% strongs. I freeze them into cubes and use them with other mixed drinks because i'm a degenerate

SHOOO SHOO MARKY LARUE
GO ARFCOM AND STAY GO
after shooting a 1911 my whole life, I have been convinced that 9mm is a superior cart for EDC. But I'm torn - the Shield only holds 9 rounds, vs the double stack 2.0 which holds 18.
I'm not expecting to get into any drawn out gun battles. What do you guys think, is the 2.0 a ton bigger than the shield? How much more of a pain would it be to conceal carry?
After all that 1911 time you should just move on to another overpriced played out meme gun like the USP or the M9
Just imagine a thicker, but lighter 1911 with a shorter slide. Get the in between option, the M&P 9c if you are dead set on S&W. Otherwise, check out the VP9/VP9sk. Sig P320 is another option or Glock 19/26
>>34094128
My 1911 is a 1945 hand me down. Old as fuck but fun and reliable. Shit capacity tho. Also kys.
What is war going to look like when every country is just using robot soldiers? What makes that different from a video game?
>>34093943
>What makes that different from a video game?
The soldiers are behind the screens while the civilians are in the battleground.
>>34093943
When you detonate a high altitude nuclear weapon and fry billions of dollars worth of equipment.
>>34095863
Or just bomb the control center.
Are there any recorded cases of people, spies criminals undercover cops ect, hiding guns up their assholes?
>>34093918
Well there's at least one.
>>34093918
There was a gun made specifically for it by the KGB.
On the flipside I don't think most "normal" guns would fit and then be easily retrievable from the ass of anyone who isn't WAY into large dragon dildos.
>>34093918
Couldn't Google it, could you?
So on July 1, my university will be open to carry freely on, but the university has put some stipulations on it. Most I am okay with (must be concealed, or locked up when not in use, ect), however they passed a "rule" that you cant carry with one in the pipe or on a loaded cylinder. This is virtually unenforceable, but could they really do anything if someone got caught? I will carry pic related so printing is a non issue. Thoughts?
>>34093907
>get in trouble for breaking a RULE, not a law
or
>needing a round in the chamber and not having it
The choice is yours.
>>34093907
Deagle or gtfo manlet
>>>>34093940
Yeah that is what i am thinking. I carry +1 everywhere and i don't want to have to think twice if i have to rack it or not. It is a weapons policy that has ambiguous consequences for breaking-essentially leaving you to the mercy of campus PD.
is it really possible to make a functional, reliable weapon out of scrap?
>>34093874
Yes.
>>34093874
flips are able to make 1911 replicas in the jungle with hand tools and scrap metal
Yeah
The 1911 is the gun when you want everyone to know you're a 89iq individual
>>34093799
No, it's the gun you use when you want to actually hit your target instead of spraying and praying.
>>34093826
fudd detected
.41 magnum
Why weren't submachine guns used during WW1 at all?
It's gonna be a long summer.
>>34093762
They were used, but they were (and are) useful in only a few situations. Rifles were (and are) much better.
because it was considered a war crime
Is this picture photoshopped or do guns really blow smoke out the side? What purpose does it serve?
>>34093580
Why didn't some patriot hand that fucking ass hat a gen 2 Glock .40???
>>34093580
That is not a shoop
That really is a faggot shooting a gun
>>34093580
Slight recoil control and mitigation. My Browning has them. Does it actually help? No idea.
when will the cmp get m1 garands again

It's time for one of those threads.

>>34093076
Damn it that kitten is adorable. Now I want one.
>>34093098
Barely eating solid food and he's already got taste.
Howdy, boys. I'm looking to remake pic related as an AR10/LR308 and while I thought wood furniture would be the hardest thing to come by, it's actually the upper receiver that's the issue. Anybody know of any company that makes an A1 style upper for an AR-10.
>>34092960
Did you look at Boyd's already?
>>34093010
I've already found the furniture. I need an A1 style upper is all.
>>34092960
Need an A1 with a FA and a brass deflector, I think C7 uppers are like that. Best bet is to spend a lot of time on gunbroker or head over that AR website with the marketplace. You'll also need a fence-less lower, do you have that too?
Why was it so effective, anons?
In an era of metal-skinned, monocoque, cannon-armed, supercharged monoplanes, the Swordfish remained a viable and effective weapon.
Why?
>>34092778
because it was designed to torpedo shit, and lo and behold it was good at torpedoing shit
>>34092791
But surely as technology moved to counter ever more aircraft (such as radar controlled AA) it really should have suffered more than it did.
More modern Japanese designs seemed to have less success in the same role.
>>34092778
Very rugged, could fly very low, didn't need a lot of runway, could operate from almost anywhere.

Read "To War in a Stringbag" if you want a first hand account of the people that flew it. it's a good read too.
