Need an A1 with a FA and a brass deflector, I think C7 uppers are like that. Best bet is to spend a lot of time on gunbroker or head over that AR website with the marketplace. You'll also need a fence-less lower, do you have that too?

Definitely not. the magazine well is much bigger on an AR-10, so AR-15 uppers aren't long enough.

There's so many different kinds of AR-10s that most different brands don't even have compatible receivers.

Dpms lite 20 has a1 upper with brass deflector and assist. The barrel is thinner past the handguard too.

The muzzle device is the big issue and the main reason I want to go for the AR-10 as opposed to one chambered in .50 Beowulf.

I got one for funsies and may just get some wood furniture and a 1/2x28 thead protector cap on the muzze to go with a gud nuf looking survivalist.
\Was going to do a c7 but a decent correct look barrel is almost as much as the rifle. Might as well play dress up with it
