did he make those PS2 advertisements?
any tips for my snapchat geofilter?
I only found out what they are two minute ago but my pov is that they suck for any purpose except sharing a single casual photo with several people who may not know what you've been up to and don't have long enough to tell where you are by looking at the context/background. that or if you plan on making your snaps postcards and selling them... with copyrighted logo attached.
try to get the colours of the photo to coordinate with the sticker
I made this. Taking requests

Is there a Justin Sandercoe/Justinguitar.com version of drawing. I need something to help me draw step by step along with established exercises otherwise I end up mucking around until I quit. I already referred to the sticky but I'm confused on which books to read and in what order. Sorry if it seems like I want to be spoon fed in just very confused. O
>>2585006
Don't make your own threads for shit like this. Go to a beginner thread or a questions thread and ask there instead.
Also, if you're looking for a Justin Sandercoe-esque channel, I guess Proko would be a good place to start.

Drawabox is the closest I've ever found to this. It includes specific excercises to do for each lesson.
The dude who runs it isn't that great though so you'll need to combine the lessons with supplementary material though.
My step dad was tired and said he was gonna go be a lounge lizard. it cracked me up. points for whoever draws the best lounge lizard. really, i have them here.
>>2585005
You sound nice
>>2585214
he's got family.
That's pretty funny, in listening to the lounge lizards right now.
I keep wanting to draw, but something gets in my way mentaly. Sometimes its artists blocl, but most times I get that stupid "what's the point" mental mind set. Anyideas on how to avoid it?

You drew that?
The answer to your question is self control and good habits.
>>2585216
Self discipline not control sorry, but self control is cool too
I kind of like these noir-ish ones, especially with a modern twist. Is there any way of finding the names of art styles?
That's a woodcut print by Peter Nevins

I have been drawing for a while but when it comes to making an instagram or a facebook page I freak out. I have a medical condition that makes me very socially isolated. My greatest fear is that the people who know me irl and know about my condition will find my art pages and mock me. My second greatest fear is that I am not that good and I won't get followers or likes.
How do people get over these fears?
just do it faggot
>>2584884
You gotta give us more context here. What do you draw? The worst people can do is make fun of you but beyond that nobody really cares. Everyone has their own lives to live and insecurities to deal with.
What is this medical condition and why would anyone mock you for it? Are you talking about being autistic or being trans? I know I am going out on a limb here but it's just a vibe I got, because idk why anyone would mock you for a physical medical condition under the context of your art, so I am assuming it's a psychiatric condition.
>My greatest fear is that the people who know me irl and know about my condition will find my art pages and mock me.
>My second greatest fear is that I am not that good and I won't get followers or likes.
Both of these tell me that you're caring way too much about what other people think. You should focus on getting good at whatever you want to do, because at the end of the day you're going to have to do you anyway.
I used to be the same but then I realise that I need to get feedback on my work and the more you do it the less of a fuck you give about people. Do it for you and fuck everyone else.
What do you think of the new designs so far?
These are awful, Pokemon design is dead.
I like the koala, the hummingbirdbug the dragon thing and the dingo. The rest can go into the trash because of either horrible design or already been done as a species.
I'm still going to buy a copy and waste time playing it though.
Gen 1 was best gen.
Is it okay to give up on a piece/drawing.
I've been on this one for too many days. Not a lot of work on it, but at some point I didn't really enjoyed working on it.
Should I force myself through it ?
I just started studying, I almost never did that before, and for now I'm enjoying it. I'm mostly copying what's in those books and trying to memorize, but that's a beginning. Anyway I'm enjoying it much more than this drawing I'm stuggling with.
the whole process was wrong, I was too enthusiastic and I haven't thought about what would be in the background.

Enjoy the ban.
Your work sucks shit, by the way.
Hey! I have some questions:
-Does an artist name really count in the long run?
-Do people who get freelance work even get asked if said name is actually them? (for example, let's say i post art under the name "1234", is it better to post under that name or my real name?
-Besides the usual "time does its job", how do i and my art more popular? (on the internetz, mainly)
Thanks! :D (pic's not related)
>>2584494
#1) No, people only care if you can deliver the shit they want
#2) Possibly, some ppl want to have work done by a specific person but again, if you can deliver what the client wants most don't give a shit what your name is or who you are
#3) Attention whore by becoming a human photocopier, or drawing whatever is popular at the moment (examples include fanart of the hot new anime, vidya or topic of the moment)
In regards to #3 it helps if it is colorful, sexy and not overly complicated. Visibility requires pandering to the masses that means don't over think it and just go for the lowest common denominator.
You could amass a following by just doing you and doing it well, but that will take a lot longer than just throwing ppl the soft core vidya pron that they really want.
>>2584508
OP here, thanks!
Regarding your #3) answer, can an artist still stay true to themselves if they're doing fanart/ fandom art?
>>2584519
Do you want an audience quick? Or do you want to do work that you find appealing and nourishes your soul? If you want an audience quick the key is to sell out and pander to them as much as possible. I.E. ignore being "true" to yourself and just give them what they want.
Actually, now I'm confused as to what it is you really want. Do you want to get a following fast and milk them for money? Or do you want to have fun and grow as an artist? It's generally difficult to do both at the same time unless you aspire to simply doing vapid fanart. In which case you've got it made, and I give you my congrats.
