So I was thinking about buying this book, then realized it really only has sketches and Im interested in other work too. Is there an online collection anyone knows of that archives michelangelos sketches, paintings AND sculptures?
Is it possible to have something like that for da vinci and other renessaince or just badass dudes from the earlier eras?
Yes.

o lawd ty. Any way to download in bulk?
To go along with practicing and doing the art you usually do, you should explore other forms of art.
Even if you are not good at whatever medium it can help inspire you or help you get out of slump. Also it can help as an outlet because it won't matter how good or bad it is.
Post an idea you have for an art project.
I'm going to make a collage out of magazines. It will have a theme of life vs no-life( like a polluted wasteland)
1. Paint portrait in only 2 warm hues in high saturation, say, green-yellow and violet. Gouache, acryllic, oils, whatever
2. Paint something with BBQ sauce.
3. Paint in MS Paint, alternatively 1 layer, 100% opacity, FINAL DESTINATION
4. Draw [First thing you lay your eyes on in your room] elemental
5. Draw wooden human and next to it human wood
6. Draw environment and then flip it so as the observer looks at it from the back

That's what's supposed to happen, is it not?
When you throw the stabilization settings into overdrive it's trying to keep as smooth as possible and trails behind as a result. You're supposed to slow down with it.
What do you think of my art /ic/?
Delet this
WHy is left blob bleeding?
Move 2 bottom blocks around the bottom on the flanks, top blob is already over-extended so keep moving him up and around the top. Move middle blob straight through the middle with bleed blob backing him up. Middle blob acts passive and doesnt push the front line while the 2 bottom blobs come up around and envelope the enemy forces. Top blob takes care of arty and archers.
By political cartoon standards, where does he fall? I mean as in both the style and message of his art.

Looks like shit. Mine is better.
>>2577348
Worse than average... which when it comes to political cartoonists is sort of like being the retard that other retards make fun of.

Ask her via instagram and post her reply here
Anybody have any art like pic related? I do album art for mostly metal bands where I live as a hobby but I started to go into a serious kick with it about 2 months ago. I'm inspired by artists like Gustave Doré, Albrecht Dürer, and alot of old drawings of medieval anatomy.
I'd like to be put on to similar artists and image dumps would be nice too.

You and I are doing the same thing, my dude. Look up some of Goya's prints and paintings, he's pretty good. Also, I'd rec just reading some macabre or dark literature for inspiration
Check out John Martin.
While his works are not woodcuts and not really similar to Dore or Durer, they do capture a kind of "apocalyptic" vibe.
Might be suitable for your heavy metal needs.

Here's his "Pandemonium"
I'm not the best at coloring and I was trying to make a 90s like outfit/drawing. I can't really make it look good so like which leg/shoe colors look better or could you just tell me better suggestions. (mind that after I finish coloring I'm going to shade it)
i never put patterns on the socks yet either
One question, and this is a serious one.
Is she drunk?
nah
What do japanese artists on Pixiv do for a living if they don't have art related jobs? Live off their parents? Some of them have pretty interesting non art or design related work, but still manage to draw like the pros
>>2577757
lot's of them are either neets or businessmen
Mostly to do with culture of trying to prove themselves, also, neeting it up, japan has a huge population so there's bound to be more artists that are good regardless of side jobs, japanese are often also rich so they can afford (high quality?) art classes that are most likely nearby because of the huge population

This makes a lot of sense....
