hm, my monitor was calibrated incorrectly and some of my art lost a lot of impact now that i've corrected it, some looks better though.
so psa, perhaps have a look at your monitor calibration
i think i need to tweak mine a little still but stuff looks so much better, movies and other people's pictures especially.

Anon, what the fuck are you trying to say? Are you trying to ask how long it takes us to draw something and how many times we scrap and redo a sketch or piece until we're satisfied?

Why does it matter? Do you really think there's a special recipe for this kind of shit? everyone's a little different. Beginners tend take much longer to finish a simple piece and that's perfectly ok bcause they're starting out.
It's better to take shit slow and get it right than to rush and fix million mistakes later.
No answer you'll recieve in this thread will be correct. There are people that don't erase at all. There are those that undo every second line. It's your process, you shouldn't care about what others do. Just fucking draw.
I've always struggled when it came to painting the background, where should I get some references and what do you suggest for this particular piece

Yeah you need to draw and be critical about what you do, think about how to improve all the time and fix errors. If you stick to the same shit all the time you won't improve and it doesn't matter if you draw an hour or 10 hours a day.
