It's kinda cute in a retard kind of way.
why is /fit/ is popular, its a retarded board and everyone thinks they are funny or cute. they are not.

I just realized that abomination is like 13 feet tall.
>guess I'm mirin
I've "read the fucking sticky". I know how to draw in 3D, but I can't draw noses/mouths for shit, no matter how many times I watch a tutorial, if I am just looking for a sketch/concept.
I drew this atrocity after a long hiatus of not trying.
If I am sketching, how in the hell can I make the mouth/nose better?
And what the hell can I do so my jaws are never cockeyed?
Instead of "symbol drawing". What do I need to do sketch wise so this looks better?
I've done loomis and all that horse shit. Shitty pic but my scanner is currently unhooked.
>>2478782
>i can draw in 3d
>ive done loomis and all that horseshit
Wrong
>>2478782
Yea... no
If you would have actually gone through the sticky and even start any Loomis studies you would be better than this by now. Maybe you read them but you did not study them in the slightest
also, what makes you think this deserves its own thread? you should be posting in the beginner thread, to streamline responses and keep clutter off the board. Thank you
>>2478788
Yes, i've gone through the fucking loomis books. I do exactly what he does.
And I posted in the beginner thread, and got the same shitpost.
HEY im a small youtuber looking to replace my cover or profile picture i wanted something battlefield 4 or fallout 4 related https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXvvvt8QdxUH11_BE7VEy8A

Is that the manga that got a shitty cgi adaptation last season? It deserved better
i wanted to draw a model for some time now but i do not have the money to hire one, so i want to convince a friend so she can let me draw her, and if anybody has done this before share his experience
>>2473141
Try chloroform.
And good luck getting someone to do this who is not a:
A) lover
B) model
C) fellow artist
Ask if you can draw her in her underwear or a swimsuit first? Or shorts and a tight shirt? If she says yes maybe she'll let you draw her naked later.
>>2473141
what is wrong with her ass? it's out of proportion af
I'm doing a comic about a brazilian super hero and my mom never really gets what the hell is happening in my pics and she's the only person who I can ask about aside from internet people (and noone on facebook or deviant art cares about my art)
maybe people from 4chan will say something about it...
>>2484917
It just doesn't look appealing, mainly because you break a lot of fundamental rules.
You have to learn the rules, before you break them.
Even if you would only fix the perspective, it would help so much.
>>2484917
How old are you?
>>2484917
Terrible compositions is your problem it seems.
It's not your only problem, but it's one of the worst
For one thing, you should decide what is the essential "thing" the panel is about, and put clear focus on that, and eliminate other things that aren't needed.
How the fuck is this art when I could literally write my name on a toilet and it would have the same effect?
Bait thread. Read art history.
>>2483794
>How the fuck is this art
It isn't.
Hey OP who decided to let you be the judge of what is art and what isn't?
I recently received some tips about my face and head proportions, and I want to know if there are any other issues that are presented within this piece.
>>2482955
you're welcome
>>2484178
Thanks?
>>2484148
>any other issues
Dude the whoke thing is an issue. The proportions are off, those tits are broken and the fat distribution would leave this woman in her back like a fucking tortoise.
recommend some dA or tumblr artists you guys like. no self promo, faggots.
a lot of the good artists i follow have really plateaued over the years, sadly. pic related
Almost every artist has a DA or Tumblr, so are you just asking for any artist we like?
>>2470611
yeah, im just looking for people i havent already discovered

Hi /ic/
I've completed some drawings with MSPaint+Flash MX 8 and I want to paint them to make em slick.
What is the best digital painting software for use with a mouse? Is it possible to get somewhat quality work from painting with a mouse?
What is the best software for mouse-painting?
Is this 2007
>ms paint
OP if you don't want to invest in a tablet, just stick with traditional. Drawing with a mouse is not worth it.
I'm a frustrated engineering student, and I want to get into arts. The problem is:
- I'm a begineer in drawing, and to convince my parents that I can do good in arts, I should git gud till february
- In the next february will happen the next admission in the university. It is a test in visual perception and drawing.
With that in mind, I want to focus this year to git gud, and be ready to pass the test, and show my parents that I can do arts.
So, someone can help me with a routine for rest of this year? I'm thinking in at least 6 hours per day in the beginning:
- 1 hour with line exercises
- 2 hour with still life drawings
- 2 hour with figure drawing
- 1 hour with landscape drawing
Ask yourself if you've ever done anything as rigorous as 6 whole fucking hours each day.
Use your time wisely. And always keep learning. Accelerate that learning any way you can.
That doesn't necessarily mean 6 hours a day.
>>2484447
Line exercises are pointless after your first 20 hours drawing because you will be practicing it in everything you do
Also the stuff you listed is just different subjects not actual fundamentals like shapes perspective anatomy and values.
go to the sticky
>>2484454
When I say still life, for example, I mean everything that include it, like 3d shapes, some shades and values. When saying figure drawing, that includes gesture, basic anatomy, etc.
I'm using some books from the sticky.
>>2484451
That's a problem that I have. I will try to begin 'little', then keep increasing that time.
This six hours would be spaced throughout.
I am searching for help cause I must git gud till february, otherwise I'm out.
Old one at 300
Because we should not have to make new threads or post in draw threads with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make your mom proud.
AVOID asking unrelated questions, There is a question thread for that.
Visit the usual "Art book Thread" to find your desired books.
Do not forget to PLEASE RESIZE and crop your images before uploading them. 1kpx is fine.
Before asking "what should I read/view/study/learn," Read the fucking sticky, it's there for a reason: >>1579290

There's a new sticky in town! You can see it at https://www.reddit.com/comments/46sb9k/
>Thread study: Try to draw/paint the opening or any other following images.
Feel free to post your original works as well if you're trash.
TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.

Garbage perspective studies Edition
This is a thread for traditional painting. Acrylic, Oil, Gouache, Watercolors, etc. Post your finished works, works in progress, critique, compare to chunbum park or illistrat, and so on.

i like it, i think. I think the sheets (i assume they're sheets) are a bit too stiff-looking, they feel very stone like. maybe that's just my mind playing tricks on me since there are actual stones as well, but the two substances should be very distinct.
i'm a sucker for space stuff though so i like the nebula lookin deal, could be a bit more transparent though imo. also the largest star seems to have something bizarre hanging off its flare, not sure if that's intentional or not.
>>2447287
pick up scott robertson man. your perspective on those lamps is way off in many spots.
What's the difference between Promarker and Tria?
Tria is recharchable and has three nibs but what else?
Which is better to buy?
>>2485107
>recharchable
:(
>>2485109
what?
>>2485107
Not much, just choose whichever one is more convenient to buy
How's the art scene in the Twin Cities?
full of gays, hipsters, muh culture minorities, overrun with Somalians and typical modern art diarrhea. I give it a light 2 out of 10.
There's a local atelier, the aptly named 'the Atelier' that you can scope out. The museums are shit just like you'd expect, otherwise.
