Thank you anon.
I'm literally retarded and have no idea how drawing programs even work. I tried using GIMP for hours now and couldn't entirely grasp it, and I'm having fucking trouble just copying and pasting things in KRITA. I'm absolutely penniless and this ancient Wacom tablet I dug up in the attic of an old house I'm using is almost down to the nib and I don't even have a weedwacker trimmer I can use to replace it. I'm trying to draw some images for this cause I'm trying to contribute to and I'm literally retarded on how to even use these computer programs. Help.

Have you tried watching YouTube videos? You'd be surprised how much information you could find by just looking for it. That being said you shouldn't expect someone to just explain everything for you.
I don't know who the artist of this is, but I love their stuff. They said they had a particular disorder that made them incapable of developing their skills or something.
Found the person on 4chan.
That person is you, isn't it? This is shit.
I made a art.
not my usual kind of thing, comissioned by a friend who runs a novelty tshirt/mug/phone cover site.
however as soon as i posted it on my facebook it got 5x as many likes as any of my other pieces and 3 requests to buy prints within 24hours.
I enjoyed making so it would make sense to do some more, kinda feel like im bandwagon-hopping though.
guess this is current-day pop art?
anyone else mess with this kind of ridiculousness?
If you're not going against what you stand for, sure.
Appeals to the lowest common denominator, but isn't badly made.
It's got good color to it and is kind of current in memes.

>If you're not going against what you stand for, sure
it felt like it at first, but then I used some of my own photos of friends dancing at festivals etc
guess theres nothing wrong with following the mainstream/trends if you're owning it and putting plenty of your own personality in there
heheheheh
Hi, I would like if anyone gave me some gorey art for ideas for a story I'm making.
Thanks :)

The whole idea of this kinda horrifies me

Jacked car tire spinning onto someone's faces being pushed into it.
Rate my draw

I get what you;re going for, but I would prefer it a little more well rendered so that I can actually make out what I saw...

Its extremely hard to read and could probably use lighter values in some spots.

Just to let you guys know, that loomis wont help you, you either have it or you don't.
I am going to dump some of my OC inks here just to show you the level one has to be at to actually get work in the industry.
don't feel bad guys, it runs in my family, both my parents are artists within the comic book industry, its a family thing.
Sorry, we only have high standards here.
You can keep your cheap inks to yourself.
thought i might as well come down to the plebs and give them a wake up call.
i will post more if you guys need further proof that my words are solid.
just like my lines.
I would love it if you would critique a video I made. Thank you.

this is an illustration board, not an art board.
How do I learn to paint?
I'm still practicing drawing, but whenever I try coloring my work it looks like complete shit.
>>2472157
Also just to clarify I mean digitally painting. But even with colored pastels I do a horrible job, I don't get the tones or colors right at all
lets play words that follow, go to wordsthatfollow .com (google it if youre scared) then lets play
bump for fun
The painter is Taiwanese and uses Corel Painter
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxOArDgWOHw&nohtml5=False
I want to achieve this style and need to know the brushes he uses.
I tried googling everything along the lines of:
梁月(Liang Yue) brush set etc,
Tried to change my system language and the language of Corel Painters UI to traditional Chinese but no joy.
Can someone check the video and translate the brushes, I hate to ask this but I tried everything I can think of, even tried to use screen capture translation, but the image is not sharp enough to read the text.
Even an image or screenshot of the brushes in a Taiwanese Corel Painter UI would be great so I can compare the brushes and find it like that.
I know brushes are not everything and all can be used etc, but if I am going to try to make my style more like his, then it is crucial that I know what tools he uses.
I can see the category of what he uses (ex. pastel, pencil and airbrush) but each of those categories have like 10+ variants.
Sorry for the long post, I didn't know how to explain it with lesser sentences and be clear about what I need help with.

Nah, I'd rather annoy worthless shitstains like you who blame their life being a failure on the existence of some photoshop plugins. You're never going to make it anon. You were born in shit and you will die in shit. Might as well end things now.
