Like most loner-killers, he confused his own sense of being a loser with his prey's success, and thought he could somehow borrow some of that glory. Like many loner-killers, he developed a very confused political/philosophical credo which he further confused with his need for a personal sense of achievement, and convinced himself he was serving his Cause (whatever it was) by this heroic act.

It is exactly the same mental-emotional confusion that drove Booth and a suicide bomber jihadist.

1. Who would win?

2. Are we in a post-happening epoch? You look back at those two and look at today and realise that no one believes in anything anymore. You laugh at the Stirner meme but ironic snark tears down any attempt at any ideology.

Tear down my stupid view of the world but here is how I basically view history.

Everything to 1900: Naive toddlers playing kings and queens

1900-1945: Turbulent teenage maturation

1945 - Now: Wageslave boredom, nothing happens

Hitler probably
assuming both were fluent in English Hitler is a pretty good speaker and flamboyant which Americans love, meanwhile Stalin had a little squeaky voice and wasn't really that cut out for populism so much as being manipulative behind the scenes.

remember that Hitler actually was a democratic politician and won so that says enough for his electability.

On immigration
>Such an important aspect of modern life like mass migration is not left unattended. Unlike the Catholic approach that unduly favors migrants, particularly in Europe, the Orthodox notices the negative nature of the process, as well as the fact that it leads to confrontation of different identities and value systems. In addition, the Orthodox Church propose to look at the roots of this phenomenon. The reason for the migration is the liberal, hedonistic ideology bleeding the peoples of Europe and the interests of the capitalist elite, who need a cheap and disenfranchised workforce:

>Attempts by indigenous people of the rich countries to stop the migration flow are futile, because they come in conflict with greed of their own elites who are interested in the low-wage workforce.

On usury
> The only alternative to the global fictitious liberal economy can only be a real Christian economy.

>Business expectations in lending, often ghostly becomes more profitable than the production of tangible goods. In this regard, it must be remembered about the moral ambiguity of the situation, when money is "make" new money without the application of human labor. Declaring credit sphere to be the main engine of the economy, its predominance over the real economic sector comes into conflict with the moral principles, reveled by God condemning usury.

I am so sick and tired of Orthodox LARPing. Here's why the Orthodox are against immigration:
1) Communism was against immigration because "muh western spies" and they still suffer from communist ideas to this day even if they have formally rejected the ideology
2) The average orthodox population back home is very old because all their young people migrated, and therefore reminiscent of times when they had communism and their world was very close
3) The young orthodox in foreign countries are some of the most racemixing and degenerate ones you will ever find, thus proving that there's nothing in orthodox theology that somehow prevents modernist from taking a hold, except the fact that orthodox countries are literal shitholes full of illiterates

>> The only alternative to the global fictitious liberal economy can only be a real Christian economy.
Said by people who literally welcomed totalitarian communism it sounds incredibly cheesy and fake

Let me add that profoundly catholic countries like Italy and Spain are also against immigration (as statistics show), and it's protestant cucks through the political influence of the USA, which are complete israeli puppets, who impose it on catholic countries by threat of economical annihilation of their population

Dont read books about books

Read the books themselves.

You can start with whatever you want

You can read books not academically classified as philosophy

But dont read books that talk about books

Read the books themselves

I wonder if during one of the many persecutions the Christians carried out against varied groups - pagans, "heretics" (Paulicians, Cathars, Bogomils, Waldensians, etc.), other denominations, or 'undesirables' -, they ever appreciated the ironic fact that they literally treated their victims in the exact same way Jesus was supposedly treated by the Romans.

Forcing them into sham trials, humiliating and insulting them, leading them to a place of torture and/or execution, and celebrating over their deaths.

It's not wrong, it's just not rigorous. It's like how your high school history essay wouldn't get published in a journal. That doesn't mean it's wrong, it just wouldn't qualify as meeting the standards of a journal. The appeal is that it presents this thesis in a form that is intelligible to people without a PHD in history, unlike scholastic journal articles. Mostly because it was written by someone without a PHD in history.

You learn Japanese. That is literally THE best way to pick up reading another language - you find the biggest book you can and don't stop until you understand it. Simply bang your head against those books in their native tounge with study guides and translations guides next to you.

Reading translations are cancer - while a neccessary evil sometimes one should always aim to read in the materials native language.

How fucked would Japan as a nation and culture have been if the Mongols didn't get wretched by that sea storm and succeded? Would they have been totally wiped out and unable to recover unlike the Chinese? I know the Khans generally allowed conquered people to keep their religion and stuff but I'm still curious.

Oh look, it's another thread which totaly disregardes the fact that the Japanese built many defences which FORCED THE MONGOLS TO STAY AT SEA LONGER THAN THEY WANTED. I won't even get started on the Mongol incompetence and shitty river boats.

But yeah, it's all because of a spooky storm.

Kill yourself.
>>
>>1481466

The mongols lost all of their battles on land in Japan.

And Kublai Khan was the emperor of FAIL because all of his invasions failed, unlike the ones from his predecessors like Ogedei and Möngke.
>>
>>1481476
I mean one could easily argue that the storm was a huge player considering that Nips were trying to hard to keep them at sea. Perhaps as a plan B? Plan A being Japan had a better ships.
