No. Because taxation without representation was not the actual reason for the revolution. The actual reason was a group of British educated local aristocrats saw that they could attain more power for themselves and their communities if they tore the colonies away from the home country. Slavery was doing nothing but expand up until the 1860s as your own chart indicates, it is possible that it might have died off later but it would not have occurred for considerable time. The South's economy wasn't stagnate and growing poorer as some early historiography might have thought, but instead was growing effectively off the backs of slave labor.

That is what Lincoln wanted to do. He was anti-slavery but wanted to end it smoothly and gradually as the economy transitioned, and for the time being merely stopping its spread.

This was completely unacceptable to the south, which wanted slavery forever and everywhere and refused to even consider alternatives.
