If by "Reforming the Tax Code" you are referring to the Income tax, you are misinformed. That was all Wilson, baby. Daddy Wilson is the best President of all time

He's a fucking socialist with a clear bias/agenda.
But considering /his/ is full of commie retards, doesn't surprise me that the guy is liked.

What are some good books on the rise and fall of the Soviet Union?
Animal farm is satirical and but I like it. If you haven't read it I highly recommend. I don't usually like reading but I actually like this one.
>>2030413
I was thinking more along the lines of actual historical studies.
>>2029163
I'm pretty sure there is a book literally named the rise and fall of the Soviet union.
>Streicher's final declaration before the hood went over his head was, "TheBolshevikswill hang you one day!"
What did he mean by that?
PURIM FEST 1946
Purim is a kind of jewish carnival celebration, where everyone looks funny ... I think Julius was just impressed by their victory in 46

This guy's entire existence was so comical.
What is your favorite time period in his?
Pic related are Russian soldiers in ww1
>>2029007
Persian Empire
Old Testament period, especially from creation to the flood (4000~2000 BC).
The pre-flood world looked alot different. Very exotic, denser oxygen, people were fit, giant animals, etc.
>>2029007
Neat. I wonder what their rations were on the day that picture was taken. Boiled pork with some bread maybe?

What's the most pragmatic religion?
>>2028873
define pragmatism.
>>2028873
Christianity
>live good wholesome life
>have success on earth
>go to heaven
>>2028885
That's not what Christianity is about.
It's about accepting the gift of eternal life through the blood of Jesus Christ who sacrificed Himself for our sins.
All other religions are work-based, Christianity is the only one that requires you to believe in the God of the Bible and what He did for you. It's about having a personal relationship with Christ. You need to be born again, of the spirit and not the flesh.
You can't earn your way to heaven, we are all sinners.
I'm interested in becoming a monarchist.
What are the benefits of monarchy?
Is the feudal structure of society obsolete?
>>2028833
>Pros
Moral and intelligent leader cannot be subverted and will drag his people into prosperity
>Cons
Insane and corrupt leader will destroy his country
>>2028840
Fpbp. Monarchism isn't a flawed concept, it's just executed by flawed beings.
Monarchy is, in most cases, the best form of government for avoiding in-fighting within the state and promoting stability. It's a pointless institution during peacetime though and good luck transitioning out of one.
>>2028853
Support for government by flawed beings seems liked a pretty flawed concept to me.
What are the best books on the 18th and 19th century? Specifically Napoleonic Wars.
bump
Really liked Redcoats and Rebels, nice book about American rev where British dindu nothing and it was all the terrorists fault. Can't say much about Napoleonic though, not my area of interest.
>>2028796
The War of Wars by Robert Harvey is a good one. It specifically tracks the conflict between Britain and France from the Revolutionary Wars right up until 1815 although it's a lot broader than that, giving a good overview of the whole situation in Europe at the time.
The Holy Roman Empire was too good for it's world. A loose confederacy of aristocratic estates and free cities that guaranteed more liberty and freedom for its inhabitants than any other European state at the time.
It's courts protected the weak against the strong to a level not seen in Europe again until the 20th century, it contained within it models for both statist authoritarianism, as in Prussia, libertarian individualism, as in Imperial Free Knights, and even anarcho-communism, in peasant republics like the Dithmarschen.
>>2028738
>Holy
>Roman
>Empire
>>2028740
Stop it, Voltaire, stop it now!
We are just mocking its name Hans. It was probably a better place to live in than most European kingdoms, but the name was ridiculous.
Are we slaves to the zeitgeist?
Slaves don't sit around wondering whether or not they're slaves. They're mostly busy with being whipped and working their asses off.
Are you referring to the post I made yesterday?
>>2028727
I'm not. You probably are, though.
What's the closest we've gotten to authentic stateless communism?

The Venezuelan government doesn't want to establish communism though
