This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

Something is wrong with my home network. Firewall/Router is pfSense, wifi is provided by a ubiquiti unifi. When I access youtube, netflix or 4chan (these are the only sites that seem to be affected) using an app on my phone:
Youtube takes a few seconds to load thumbnails and videos, but streaming quality is just fine and doesn't stop to buffer
Netflix takes literally 3-5 minutes to load the main site, a long time to connect to a chromecast and send commands to it, but also streams at high quality without buffering.
Chanu/Clover both take a long time to load boards, chanu will load images, clover fails to load images. In a browser 4chan is as quick as my laptop on the same connection.
Laptops and Desktops on the same network have no such issues. I don't know if it's localized to just my phone, since I have no other devices to test it with.
pfSense is running 2.2.5-RELEASE amd64, unifi is running the most recent firmware.

Writing a program i to compare long contracts. Trying to decide how I should write the comparison algorithm and store the data. The docs would be about 20 pages in length.

Originally I was thinking I should break them down into strings of individual sentences, maybe storing them in a spreadsheet, then comparing them. But I can def think of potential problems with that.

Also was originally gonna write it in python since I have been teaching myself how to use it over the past 2 weeks but the more I read, the less confident that I am that I should use it for this.

Not asking for code but if anyone could be very grateful to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

Think about what constitutes a legal clause, and try and separate the phrases and sections in the document into legal clauses.
It might help to talk to a lawyer to discuss the plausibility of breaking up a document into atomized clauses.

Ok that def makes sense. thanks!

If you haven't written a parser before, you should definitely look at simple parser examples first.
>i.e. parsing mathematical expressions
> 3 * 4 + 2 == (3 * 4) + 2 == + * 3 4 2
Legal document parsing is very hard.

YY.MM is the superior choice
>>

first number is major version number. Only things with major workflow or ABI breakages change these.
second is release number
Third is bugfix/security fix number.

There's not a real desktop thread up right now, there's one but it's for desktops you admire rather than your desktop. So fuck it, desktop thread.

Also, does anyone know how to replace/get rid of the taskbar on Win10 while still being able to access the start menu?

Hello /g/
I have a huge dilemma and I can't decide even if my life depended on it, which it kinda does. For a better perspective on this, I'm 18 years old.
I am trying to decide if I should or shouldn't go to university. The field I plan on working in is cyber security, pen testing or vulnerability assessment to be precise. I've spent all my free time learning Python, Perl and shell, meanwhile toying around with pen testing tools to get the feel of things.
The universities in my country do not offer me anything specific to this field and are mainly focused around Web Development for some reason, and I kinda see this as a waste of time if I am to go. On the other hand, I can fully dedicate myself to further improving in this field. There's also a CEH center in my city which means I can eventually get certified and be on my merry way.
Any advice or tips on what I should set my sights on?

I'm bored, I'm looking for a project to do that can waste some time. I have a raspberry pi 3. I was going to build an Amazon Alexa like thing but the total cost of the pi project was like 10$ off of the real thing. So I scrapped it. I might get into Bitcoin, I don't know.

Are there any books out there that teach C# in relation to game development (Preferably Unity game engine). Beginner - Intermediate level would be fine.

I know there are videos, not interested in videos.

Is there a recommended starting point for learning to code? I'm off to war and I'll have a lot of free time and a Thinkpad X220 and I need something else to do besides watch Batman Beyond and play Oblivion.

Also, does anyone else have an encrypted folder that's a porn locker? If in the astronomically slight event I get killed I don't want my memory to be all those girls with penises on my flash drive.
