They're a public torrent tracker. Google isn't faggot.
When will the price drop on 1080 and 1070? Why they have so jew pricing on them? 1060 costs like 970 did and 1070 costs same as 980 did. What the fuck really?
Gotta pay something for the best card around

Not really, desu.
Hi /g/, I'll have some /disposableincome/ in the near future and want to set up a home server.
I primarily want to use it as a fat file storage and for backups, but also want to be able to set up neat things like a Website or E-Mail on it later - I only want to be able to do that first, going to teach myself later.
So I'd need a flexible system, most probably going to be some distribution of (GNU/)Linux.
I have no prior experience as sysadmin.
Where shall I start to learn?
Ubuntu Server
Look into making secure admin accounts
Learn about ssh and basic networking principles

Use RHEL or CentOS like a sane person OP.
>>55683254
Gah it's about the same, Ubuntu gets your feet wet a bit more with the community a d guides out there.
I personally like FreeBsd on my servers as well
Is there any point in having a case fan? Im using a i5 4460 (stock fan) and gtx 960, very rarely are their fans spinning. The only thing that's making noise is the case fan and was wondering if i might as well throw away it
>>55683112
Fans are a meme. You don't need them at all. Just like thermal paste. Take them all out and enjoy absolute silence.
How about not being a poorfag and getting decent fans? You don't even need meme poo fans if you want silent operation.
Been running without thermal paste + no case fans for years now. It's a meme. Tried going a few months without CPI, but I missed the humm of my PC
I'd like a chan that live updates individual threads as they are posted in, as well as the order of the threads on the page.
related, chan.io is bought, someone try dat default login
>I'd like a chan that live updates individual threads as they are posted in
4chan X, here you go.
A lot of people here on /g/ use chan's due to it being anonymous and very lightweight. Adding lots of bloated features that can be implemented cleint-side, for example via stylesheets, is better done that way.
No need to make a new website.
>>55683159
i'd think it would be more efficient to use long polling than have each user make a request for new posts every 10 seconds
but that's just my opinion i guess LOL!!
>>55683159
>Stylesheets
>Live updates site
Okay whatever you say
Remember when this was apparently a thing? Did anyone end up actually getting one, or is Blackberry literally dead now, since this was apparently their last gasp, and from what I heard, it fucking tanked.
They're announcing 3 new handsets next week.
Their mobile OS is dead but not their ability to make phones. As long as all the new phones they make come with Android lollipop+ they'll be fine.
Having a priv is now seen as a sign of wealth compared to a sign of degeneracy if you own an iPhone.
>>55683232
I doubt most people even know what a Priv is. It's just "oh a Blackberry phone".

What the fuck is the point of this thread?

Okay /g/, in about 5 hours, I have an interview for a software development technical position at Facebook.

Phone your existing phone and what you like about it, and the phone you plan on getting.
I just got the LG G5 based on /g/ recommendations and i absolutely love it.
I had a Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and a Blu Life XL before.
The nexus 5 and blu life xl were my favourites before. Good value for both phones considering their price.
Im not rooting the LG G5. I have no reason to and most 0day exploits for android are root based exploits.
Your turn.
iPhone 6s, probably gonna buy an HTC 10 or S7 Edge.
Xperia Z2. Never gonna upgrade. It works perfectly.

>“A review of historical Whois information for KAT….identified that it was registered on or about January 19, 2009, to Artem Vaulin with an address located in Kharkiv, Ukraine,” the affidavit reads.
>The agent further uncovered that the alleged KAT founder used an email address with the nickname “tirm.” The same name was listed as KAT’s “owner” on the site’s “People” page in the early days, but was eventually removed in 2011.
“Records provided by Apple showed that [email protected] conducted an iTunes transaction using IP Address 109.86.226.203 on or about July 31, 2015. The same IP Address was used on the same day to login into the KAT Facebook Account.”

What is the best way to spoof GPS? I've been using nox but it is very slow and the frame rates are low. Is there a good way to do it on your device, or a better way on the computer?

you just install the extension, hide the toolbar icon and and forget about it. why do you care?
