Nox is alright because you can move with ASDW keys. Using Bluestacks is okay too for the computer. You just have to make sure you don't make huge location jumps in a short period of time, or you'll get a soft ban. Soft bans normally wear off in a matter of a couple hours though. Literally the only way to play for some of us that are stuck in areas with 0 Pokemon, no PokeStops and 30+min away from anything that's worth catching or gyms.

If you want something for Android the best place to look is probably Xposed installer if you have a rooted device. Pretty sure there were a couple modules for pokemon GPS spoofing, don't remember because fuck this game. The process of installing the Xposed framework isn't too complicated if you've ever flashed your device.

I've done lots of searching, it seems like something that can be done for cheap but finding the right piece of hardware is tricky. I hughly doubt we need one of these thousand dollar fancy things to fool a phone, it isn't like we're trying
