They're announcing 3 new handsets next week.

Their mobile OS is dead but not their ability to make phones. As long as all the new phones they make come with Android lollipop+ they'll be fine.

Having a priv is now seen as a sign of wealth compared to a sign of degeneracy if you own an iPhone.

If I might interject for a moment, you seem to be under a misconception.
You see, the media has conditioned themselves, and yourself by extension, to think of Blackberry as a hardware company.
This is incorrect; we're a software company. We've always been a software company. But for a long time, the there was a tangible thing we built, the phone, that showcased that software.
