Hello /g/uys,
I am starting to get into making music and I need a bit of advice or some experiences.
I am currently running Arch but I heard that there are some distros specifically set up for music production.
Should I take a look at those? What are the advantages?
If you have some recommendations for essential software that I need or that you like to use then please let me know, I'd also love to hear your experiences when it comes to audio production on linux.

Nope. This is only due cooperation of nvidia with game developers (where nvidia promises various optimization for not caring about amd) but dx12 and vulkan (based on amd mantle) shows that vulkan runs great on amd. Pure tech & politics.

How does w10 store its license? I don't really want to upgrade to 10 right now, but with the free upgrade ending, I'd like to have access to it in the future if I need to. Would upgrading and then using the built in revert tool keep the valid license for me to reupgrade at a later time? Or would I have to make an image of my 7 install, upgrade to 10 and image that, and then restore the 7 image?
