Glide was cool, but Vulkan is basically this generation's Glide.
Screen space effects happened. One card needs to know what the other one is rendering meaning there needs to be communication between the devices, introducing severe performance bottlenecks.

I have a SparkFun Simblee BLE Breakout - RFD77101
it's an arduino microcontroller with bluetooth module built-in
i also have an attachment that i can use to program the arduino microcontroller via serial port.
i'm trying to get it so that i can read data off the analog input pins and then transmit the data using the bluetooth module to my PC (which has a bluetooth antenna).
I'm writing an arduino program to upload to the arduino microcontroller to do this, and I'm also writing a Java program in Processing IDE to run on the PC's end that will get the data from the PC's bluetooth antenna and then it plots it in a window.
Basically I'm having trouble finding code for the arduino and Java programs to allow the arduino and PC to communicate via bluetooth.
I know there is a package simbleeCOM, and the simblee website gives example code that doesn't even compile properly (not sure if the syntax is incompatible with newer versions of Arduino or what). That, and I can't find Java code for Processing to complement it (read the data sent to the PC's bluetooth antenna to do stuff with).
I am just wondering if anyone on /g/ is aware of any tutorials or has any suggestions for what I'm trying to do.
Any advice would be appreciated.

to most systems, chars are just 1-bit size numbers associated with the ASCII table so you can define them that way

Did a little research and found that MEGA seems to be the best choice. Both lots of space and encrypting my shit. However, does it sync flawlessly like Dropbox or is it shit?
Automatic, 'fast' syncing is quite important. Tried Google Drive some years ago and it was utter shit on Windows. Had to restart the entire program every time I wanted it to sync.
None of the alternatives seem very good sadly. pCloud: no free encryption. Google Drive: yeh, let me give you all my files and have you trawl through it. Dropbox: too little space and does it still have security issues? OneDrive: either I messed up or it writes like mad to my SSD for no reason. Also poor Linux support.
Oh yeh, big plus if it is cross-platform. Running Linux myself but not everybody is... those bastards.

No, it is poorly supported. On the latest versions of open source software the 2.4ghz radio does not even work. Its really sucks, since the hardware itself is so powerful.
