I need a watch but I don't want one that is gimmicky or retarded looked which is 99.9% of watches for some goddamn reason.

I like pic related but cannot justify the price of $155.

Just want something clean looking with no logos or unnecessary features. Analog or digital is fine.

itt; haskell beginners ask me questions

ill start with what haskell is

haskell is a general purpose, purely functional programming language .
it provides:
>higher-order functions (functions that can take functions as arguments and return functions too)
> static polymorphic typing (meaning functions that can work on any datatype)
>user-defined algebraic datatypes
>pattern-matching
>list comprehensions
>a module system
>a monadic I/O system
>a rich set of primitive datatypes, including lists, arrays, arbitrary and fixed precision integers, and floating-point numbers

spoiler: I'm not an expert by I know my way around.

Why would I want to use this shit instead of tried and true programming constructs like loops, conditional jumps and state machines with side effects?

It's how a computer actually works.

Switch to glorious GNU/Linux.

Backup all your files, pick a distro (you can dual boot at first if you like), install, then delete Windows once you're fairly comfortable with it.

Do you think ChromeOS could ever compete with Windows as a desktop OS and not just as something for Chromebooks? Personally, I think it could. Google just needs to encourage more native development of apps, and allow people to install applications from third party sources (like how you can on Android). If ChromeOS could be made compatible with regular linux applications for other distributions, that'd be awesome too. The only thing keeping me from switching to Linux full time is muh gaymes, so if Steam could come to ChromeOS that'd be huge in encouraging developers to port their games to linux. I'm afraid Google isn't going to do that though, they're going to keep ChromeOS in their ecosystem and only support Android apps on it.

Loonix is at 2% desktop OS marketshare so the answer is a guaranteed NO. People want to do things beside play angry birds on their laptops and chromebooks with chrome OS simply can't deliver. To add insult to injury 90% of users are running windows so getting them to switch to a crippled desktop OS is impossible.
>>
>>55823563
But ChromeOS is still in the early stages, it can grow to be less crippled.
>>
If Microsoft Office in the cloud ever makes sense for us here in my third world shit hole, I'll have no problem recommending Chrometops or whatever they're called to friends and family who want a Facebook machine but with the occasional Office use.

Hello, I use Windows 10, and I have stopped it from spying on me by disabling all updates, and using a software to turn the spying off, is that enough to keep damn wangblows from spying on me all the time?
11 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
If you use anti-beacon, yes, that should be enough.
>>
No, absolutely not.

Spying in windows is embedded in almost all software and even your kernel. It's almost impossible to stop spying and botnet.

Why would you even be on windows, give any argument?
