Specialized software, but for anything that doesn't require heaps of processing/graphical power (AAA games, computational science, CAD) this can be fixed given enough time and interest. Many software packages that used to be clunky Windows installations are now moving to web/app-based platforms anyway. Linux apps can run in a VM on high-spec Android phones.
Someone will say botnet, but between Windows/OSX/Android, it's about choosing a favor of botnet, than avoiding it altogether.

I use my G3 as a second computer at my desk at work. I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse hooked to it. Works great for casual use (shitposting on blocked sites, watching Netflix, messaging), but if you wanted to do any real work or seriously multitask it'd be a pain in the ass.
If you use your phone as your main device already anyway, no reason it wouldn't work.

I had a dream that Apple built a base on the moon and called it the iBase. And it was basically just a small resort place where people could go on vacation. It had just been completed and I won a contest to be one of the first few people to "beta test" it.
Well we had to get on this rocket to get to it, and right as it was getting ready to take off I was suddenly terrified that the rocket was going to explode like Columbia or the Challenger did, so I tried to get off but our guide wouldn't let me, so I tried to jump out but he pushed a button so the door locked.
But then we got to the base and it was super fucking cozy and there were pools and hot tubs and a soothing fountain and since it hadn't been opened to the public yet we were the only ones there besides staff so it was quiet and peaceful, and a bunch of huge windows on the ceiling so you could see the stars and Earth.
How close do you think humanity is to having this be a normal thing? Do you think we'll see it in our lifetime?

Same, pretty depressing 2bqh. I think it'll be a while before we are actually able to leave Earth without wondering if the shuttle is just going to explode every time we leave.

I recently bought this case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811854003 and I'm having an issue with overheating. There's a 200mm fan intake at the front and a 140mm in the rear, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
There's a harddrive cage behind the intake fan, could removing that give me better temps?

What's the point of this type of shit? Not the Kevlar reinforced meme, the "For Samsung, Nexus, LG..." obviously the cable will charge anything with a micro USB port so why even try to make some retard with, say, a oneplus or Huawei phone think they can't use it? It seems harmful to the company. Same thing happens with other cables like headphones with in line mics and stuff.
