KDE is the future of Linux desktop. KDE adds features. KDE is a full desktop ecosystem.

GNOME cucks remove features and has and will have no resizable thumbnails in file picker

I still have no idea what the fuck this is. Is it a ubuntu fork that uses newer KDE software? If so, why would I use this when other distros let you have up-to-date software without the autism of ubuntu.

Hypothetically, is it possible that Photoshop can use steganography to hide the serial number in any image ever exported from it. A company like Adobe has the resources to scrape the entire web. What kind of intelligence can they gather by tracking the serial number of images in documents across the internet?

You can easily verify that.

Compare the before and after images at binary level. There are tools for that.

Why even live.

We get the megacorps and the tech, but none of the comfy. For fucks sake, most people still live in brick and wood houses.

Hello,
what is your opinion on using 4k TV as a monitor?
Has anyone tried it?
It looks to me, that you can get a really great deal considering the price per area per pixels. Maybe there are some nuances?

>>55937032

TVs generally have lower refresh rates, which is why they tend to be cheaper despite having bigger screens.

Which for general computing may be good enough.
>>
you have to sit far away depending on how big tv is
most tvs have significantly worse input latency than monitors
you'll probably be stuck to 4k at 60hz
everything will look tiny unless the tv is huge but then you're back to problem 1
if the tv is huge your pixel density will be no better than a 1080p monitor
you wont be able to mount it on a traditional desk arm and there could be issues with getting the viewing angle right

you will have tons of screen real estate and a lot of tvs use va panels which imo look way better than tn or ips

Don't forget that some places has Television licensing and you have to pay a fee to own a TV.
But there is also the "If you're seen with a TV" act.
So you could just skip that fee by hiding that TV like a farmer hiding his moonshine.

So I saw some good deals on amazon with the fury nitro but I don't know if it's 4gb vram will be enough for extreme textures like in skyrim, plus the rx 480 will never be on stock so, should I buy it /g/? will it be enough for 1080p?

4GB will be fine for 1080p. HBM seems to somewhat mitigate the issue of running over budget as well. Games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, which demands well over 4GB at 1080p, run great both in terms of minimums and averages. Even at 1440p the Fury X posts higher minimums than the 980 Ti, despite its apparent shortage of VRAM.
>>
>>55936857
It's HBM not GDDR5. It's not quite as ideal as 8GB of VRAM but it'll still handle "more" than 4GB very well. The fury also performs better than the 480.

Watch out for coil whine though.

No, 4GB are no longer enough for 1080p. If you want to be set for the next 1-2 years at least get 6GB, if you plan to use it 3-4, get 8.

Will there be any really noticeable difference if I upgrade from a FX-8320? I've been thinking about a skymeme or waiting for Zen, but I'm wondering if I'll even see a noticeable difference in my everyday life.

Has anyone else noticed that every so often an ad will pop out from the bottom right of the screen. namely 'epom'.

Suddenly my performance dives whilst it rears its head.

What the fuck is going on? I thought it was malware originally but nothing came up during my sweeps. Did slanty eye new moot put actual interactive ads on here?
