First phone was Lumia 640,snappiest phone I've ever used, probably would go back in a heartbeat if alternative appstore, side loading and overall more apps were available in it.
Also gave me 30GBs of cloud storage that did their fair share in a couple of formattings I did, and will probably do so even more now that Microcuck gave me a free year of office for the whole One drive shit storm.

So I've noticed the less money or education someone has, the more likely they'll be using an iPhone.

Like, last week my cousin told me he and his gf were buying iphones - the SE or whatever.. let's call it "slim edition". They were having 2 or 3 lumia models before. (One i know was the top model that time)
He even mentioned (because he knows how much i love Android for all the possibilities) that they were considering N5X and some other iphone model.. 6 or 6s?
So i gueass if you look at it that way, you can see that there are always reasons why you choose a particular OEM/device, and very often, but not always the decision can be limited by money. Depends.

I'm in Italy, it's just the same: a lot of people i know with low income have an iphone, maybe bought with monthly rates. People with higher income have low-medium end android phones or dumbphones.
I explain it considering that poor people don't want to be labeled as poor, so they buy the most expansive phone available

Hey /g/ I was curious if anyone here has ever made a RAM disk with their system memory. Was thinking about doing it for temp files and browser cache and the like but keep reading things for and against about it. Also have a Sammy 840 120GB SSD for my OS and thought it would help with writes etc.

Modern SSDs are so fast that there are hardly any programs on the consumer or even prosumer front that can make use of that speed, never mind RAM-level speeds.
It's a much better use of money to just get a bigger/faster SSD than what you have, or even an NVME m.2 based one.
