Is there a technology related movie or TV show that is actually faithful to reality?

Pic unrelated of course.

Mr. Robot comes close. Yeah, it's still way off, but it comes closer than anything else mainstream that I've seen.
>>
>>56075137
Mr Robot is the most faithful to reality tech related TV show. Most of the stuff is accurate.

Haven't watched Silicon Valley so can't comment.

RHEL is the name of the company and the operating system it develops.

No, the company is Red Hat and the OS RHEL.

Okay so that's 2 things to delete. How about a hidden file for every single fucking file on the directory tree like Apple does? Impossible to delete by hand if there's multiple directories, and impossible to match with a regex.

What, do you actually want somebody to give you date and time when macfags will become BTFO?

I want to sell a Macbook Pro to replace with a cheaper laptop, but I want the same amount of speed and quality as the Macbook Pro. Any good suggestions are appreciated.

>>
>>56074980
You want a premium product at a non premium price.

Quite the dilemma.

You'll be able to find laptops with the same speed, but you'll never be able to match the build quality with a lower price.

It just so happens that the default stack size on Windows/.NET is exactly 1Mb.

I'm currently busy learning Python and I was wondering if someone could explain me the general structure of how a program should be written.

I was thinking it was this way:

- import modules
- declare variables
- define functions
- loops

Thanks!

Basically this but you'll be also importing the big modules before doing anything else. Like, if I know I'm going to use beautiful soup I'll import it first thing after opening the fike

Trying to turn Raspberry Pi 2 into multimedia box for my family to browse interner and torrent and watch movies in hd on TV.

What is the best performance-wise software for stuff like torrents, media player, browser etc.? Is the official Raspbian OS good or are there better alternatives?
5 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>56074728
google.

Raspbian Lite should be fine if you know how to remotely use the command line.

XBMC / Kodi is your go to media player, you can get an app on your phone that acts as a remote.

Plug an external hdd into the pi and you have the thing set up.

There is an article on the internet somewhere that shows you how to use a install and use a remote torrent manager.
>>
>>56075095
Why would someone torrent, while there's tons of add-ons find movie for you?
>>56074728
I recommend openelec, it's surprisingly lightweight than kodi on my pc
>>
>>56074728
OSMC, https://osmc.tv/

Kodi on top of Debian. Supports HDMI-CEC so your telly's remote should be enough by itself.

Can someone with a Noctua NH-D15 take a photo of their guts?

I just wanna see how it fits in a PC and if it'll fit inside my rig

On the Noctua website is a list of motherboards and what it will block (PCI-e, ram slot).

Also it has a maximum height so that should be listed on your case specifications what coller it can fit.

What's your case make? Go look that up and it should say.

They're almost the same hardware internally. I like the smaller form factor but a few things are missing, like force touch. I'm also not sure if the camera is the same. I'm waiting for the 7 and if it sucks, I'll go for the SE.
