There are quite a few things he's indifferent towards. E.g. functional programming, he says it's just not his thing.
Also he doesn't dislike systemd.

So ok the 4chan /g/, is overclocking worth it?

How much of a difference can 500 mhz even make?

10 cores, so 5ghz

depends on the individual. If you're a "hardcore overclocking enthusiast" who gains an inch of epeen for each extra mhz, then yeah its worth it. If you're poor af and have old hardware then it might be worth it if its a particular cpu that overclocks exceptionally well (old c2q n shit). For the average user though, I'd argue that it isn't worth it just because of the potential extra cost of a sufficient cooler, cost of a K series chip, and extra heat / noise and instabilities.

What do you use in order to fetch your mail? Offlineimap, mbsync, mutt's default imap implementation?
Which patches do you use?
How do you manage your list of contacts?
Did you setup GPG? If so, what's your setup like?
What are some cool tricks/obscure features that everyone should know?

I just downloaded this as my first Linux distro ever. What so I do? I'm dual booting with win10 but currently my windows 10 doest odor at all. I've partitioned 255gb for Linux.

Might need some more details. Download Rufus and burn the .iso file to a flash drive. Then turn off your computer, plug in the flash drive, and turn it on. Press esc and select boot menu. Choose the flash drive. Be extremely careful not to overwrite existing partitions. Back up your data.
>>
>>56078182
>I'm dual booting with win10
Be very careful with UEFI related shit. I messed up my UEFI partition installing SUSE, and now I literally can't boot into Windows, recover the boot partition, or reinstall W10 at all. I have to install W7 instead. Thankfully I can still access the Windows partition and get all my files from Linux.

Fuck UEFI and fuck Windows 10 for helping to propagate it.

IMO it's better to just roll your own, Drupal amdost other cms' are filled with vulnerabilities.

>>
>>56078172
It's a mess.
>>56078553
One way to eliminate some vulnerabilities is to drop the database and use something like jekyll or it's competitors.

It depends on what you need/want, really.

NEC offer similarly high quality displays for a bit less than Eizo. Dell also makes excellent high-end displays, including the first OLED 4K panel and a 5K one.

Hello /g/,

Never posted on this board before. If this isn't allowed, I apologize.

I am looking to setup a wall projector in my living room and have several questions.

Can anyone recommend me a decent projector? Looking to project onto an area that is roughly 5 feet x 6 feet. Willing to spend up to $400 dollars.

Is apple tv a standalone system which I could purchase, plug into a projector and hook up to my wifi?

Do they make projectors with decent built in sound or should I invest in speakers?

Apple TV requires power from the wall to work. Depending on the projector, some incluse an MHL HDMI port, so you could hook up a chromecast, roku, etc. But this depends on the "tier" of projector and the ones that do this usually are mire expensive, or are designed for conference rooms.

For the price you're stating i'd recommend a Optoma HD 141X. It's 1080p decent lag and pretty decent for the price.

If you want to pay a little extra for better colors and contrast i'd go with an Epson.
The 2030 and 2040 are some of ghe best bang for buck in the projector scheme right now.

Also, invest on a decent projectiom screen or make you'r own.
If your'e planning to use it on a well lit room, you should look up a black projections screens like "black diamond" from screenovations and black widdow paint mix

Most likely...
>Nvidia sells them wholesale for about $200-250 with $350 MSRP for basic OEM-style cards
>Jewish retailers jack up the price because muh supply and demand

And yes it's legal. Nvidia didn't enter into any contract saying they absolutely will be X price. Retailers ultimately control the pricing.

Wait a few months and prices will drop. How it goes every time the newest GPU is hot shit.
