I know a fair amount of C, and I do a fair amount of programming work. My HS GPA is about 3.5 and my ACT is 29. If I were to get into serious Linux kernel development (GPU drivers, networking API, etc.) or other large FOSS projects, what are the odds that I can get into a based university like UC Berkeley or MIT with the help of that?

Arch is best because you get the newest tech and can keep it as lite as you want. The biggest downside is you have to be good with computers and it takes time to take time to set it up.

MS stopped supporting gadgets many years back because of security vulnerabilities. Not too eager to DL clocks based on the same gadget from google.
For now, I just jury rigged "Date and Time" window to "always show on top" in the bottom right corner till I have more time to find a proper solution
