Let's see what everyone's bookmarks toolbar looks like (if you use it). No cleaning it up beforehand.

Inefficient use of screen space.
Way faster to hit Ctrl-L or Ctrl-T, start typing the first couple letters of the site, and press enter or down-enter, and that takes no space on the screen.

Hahah who's the stupid guy for getting a gaming laptop now.
>>56154052
None of this is based in reality though.
I like my legs burnt at the end of my gaming session, this is just for me

What will finally replace JPEGs on the Web?
WebP is opensourced, but not much better than JPEG. BPG is awesome, but based off h.265 and patent encumbered.
nothing
>>56154006
Why does jpg need a replacement? Internet is getting faster and higher bandwidth.
Lets just start using Tiff's, Bmp's and png's.

Navigate the japanese menu using that picture you just posted. It's really not that hard. Change the theme using the fourth tab.

I did this a few yeaes ago and I have no regrets. After you've escaped from the windows reality distortion zone for a while you realize just how much hard it made things and how frequently it broke.

You should be used to it by now.
>install Anniversary update

Currently using Remix OS for the lulz until I decide on which Linux distribution.
I literally never use the computer without a mouse. Should I bother learning VIM? Or can I just stick with Sublime?
Does proficient use of VIM actually lead to increased productivity or is it just a meme? I understand the benefit if you're working remotely and don't have a full mouse + keyboard but it seems silly to use an editor which actively ignores the fact that I have a mouse sitting in front of me.
For those that use VIM as their daily drivers: how long did it take for you to prefer VIM to traditional editors?
I don't care about Emacs.
You can use the mouse in vim if you wantif has("mouse")
set mouse=a
endif
VIM is a meme. Emacs is a meme. Linux in general is a meme.
No fucking clue why people waste time with all of that clunky shit. Just use windows and notepad++.
Vim integrates well under linux therefor it is a part of the toolchain.
Vim is very useful if you learn how to use it, but of equal importance is that you configure it heavily, don't do the whole "sane defaults" shit, you will die.

I was wondering if anyone else's micro usb charger cord looks like this on their LG G4.
One gold contact gone and the 2 center ones are pushed back.
>>56153384
Idk man but here's my Aukey cable for comparison.
>>56153384
It's normal for some pins to be a different length. Most plug specifications include this so that power/ground connects slightly sooner than data, preventing a whole bunch of potential issues.
It's one of the big differences between modern "hotplug" connectors as opposed to early 90s "turn off the computer before swapping anything" connectors.
>>56153653
That is a good explanation as I had no idea. I thought my cord may of been defective. It charges good and fast, just those contacts had me worried.
Thank you.
This is where Logitech fucked up hard!!! I don't understand for the life of me why they wouldn't just use 2 large pads that run from side to side, one at the top and one at the bottom, but they chose to use the 4 mini mousepads on the bottom. I predict the same early G303 issues in the near future, where if the user applied too much pressure to one side the mouse would tilt. I really hope they fix this before they release this shit.
>>56153333
Damn look at those quads! But this is what I was referring to.
Where can you even buy replacement pads for logitech mice?
Zowie at least sells them on their site and gives extra in box.
Might pick up an FK2 because of this BS.
>>56153401
Dont get the FK2 just yet, just wait til later this year when Zowie release their own version of mice with the Pixart 3360 sensor, which is equivalent to Logitechs Pixart 3366 sensor.
What would happen if all /g/ connected their home networks?

What's the easiest way to make a 2d platformer on android?
Let's say I don't know coding.
I've gentoo on dual boot, don't bother me with install gentoo maymay.

>Let's say I don't know coding.
They immediately give up and go find something else to do. You're obviously not interested in coding and therefore not interested in making vydias by proxy.
>>56153102
I'm interested in money, nothing else.
According to some internet research, Unity is easy, and GameMaker: Studio doesn't need code skills? if anyone can confirm
>>56153118
You can get pretty good money by giving blowjobs, go try that instead of something that you know nothing about.
Could a new Internet be created?
I was about to write a serious response to your thread but then I noticed you posted the /reddit/ frog.
Please leave, go back to the hole you crawled out of, and never come back here.
Yes, but you'd need the cooperation of 10's of thousands to be a network running.
I've contemplated this myself. What would be required is a "flatpack" kit for a reasonable price.
It would need a mobile phone with a strong wifi and antenna port, a solar-power kit, and waterproofing.
These kits would be purchased by willing participants, And could also use open wifi networks to connect into the clear net should need be.

Hey /g/
Long time lurker first time caller.
Recently got into coding and tech. Still a fuckin' idiot but doing what I can. I'm a big fan of podcasts and I'm looking to learn more about techy shit.
What tech podcasts do you listen to while you're coding?
>>56152968
You don't listen to podcasts while programming, shit's distracting bro. Only acceptable media to listen to while coding is K-pop, I thought everyone knew this.
>>56152968
Fucking hell I am sick and tired of you AMDtards posting about your pathetic company. Just accept it, NVIDIA is the superior choice for gamers and professionals alike.
>>56152968
interested in what you've gotten interested in and what kind of coding your doing. I'm not much of a coding type but I do stay up to date with hardware listening to the pcperspective podcast. pretty gud stuf m8
