I want to start using the cloud to sync more data, as the files I need for my U are a hassle to email back and forth, and I need to put everything on an external drive whenever doing sketchy shot with my pc's.
Is there a cloud service that is not in teh botnet?
Google is nice but pretty much definition of botnet
Microsoft was caught once selling email info to political ad campaigns in 2011 and w10 confirms they are in a botnet too
So is Dropbox safe? I read that they scanned file names when shared to see if they were sharing copyrighted content, but that isn't a big deal, as they stopped and it seemed pretty innocent (and they make money off payments, not ads and selling data)

Because their fucking titlebar is just unbeatable. I would still be using it if I didn't fuck my installation up so badly. Tried to compile it myself to fix some bugs, then I got some graphical glitches, uninstalled then everything went fucked. Now I'm on Xfce. Maybe I'll try again in a month or two.

Honestly,maybe for 2010. Not now though. Here in Cancuckistan, laptops that are around $1000 are still 1366x768 which is disgusting.
My old T410 from 2010 has a 1440x900 screen. I just upgraded to an Acer Swift 3 and it was just shy of $1000 with tax and has a 1080p screen. Quite a nice upgrade for productivity.
