/g/ my friend fucked up their phone keypad and I can't seem to help them. I have no idea what's wrong with it.
They can't get rid of the arrow tab above the Q and there's a little emoticon face above the comma for some reason. I've never seen it like that.
They are using the Gboard app and even if they create a new layout it's still the same.

Hey /g/, why can't my computer run gifs well? I never have this issue with webms or youtube videos, but for some reason my computer always runs gifs at a really low res and frame rate. I have an i5 with integrated graphics. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using chrome? gifs in chrome have been slow and fucked up for me for longer than I can remember: slow as hell and often have a weird repeat first loop as if they don't start at the beginning when you first load them, they work 100% fine in Edge.

I don't want to start a flame war but this topic is too important to be left unanswered once and for all.
Why do people still use languages like c++ and Java, when it has been proven that Rust, Haskell, Lisp, Python, and few dialectics of JavaScript, are superior answer in almost every question.
C++ is outdated, template errorhell crapmess that keeps attempting to retrofit functional features into it's gay non-gnu-approved standard.
Dennis, Haskell curry, sussman and McCarthy all rolling in their graves
Don't lie about performance. If you care about performance go write your own language in llvm binding which makes it dirt with easy. And if you can't write a compiler, how the fuck you think you gonna be a good c programmer?
How is TOX coming btw? Took few years to make, hype died, never became stable and still fundamentally broken.

I've been working my full time programming job through a pair of Chinese 4K HMDs all week.
I have them on with headphones, connected to a desktop without any monitors, using a 4K headless dongle to emulate a 4K display. I have 8 windows open as I type this, wrapped 220 degrees around my body 0.5 meters from my face. Best of all these HMDs cost less than a good 4K monitor and unlike a 4K display they take up zero space but can be wrapped around me 360 degrees if I wanted to.
I'm truly a believer since I started doing this. I don't remember being this productive since I first discovered 4K displays.
