Then he can get an arch tattoo
Why is it so slow compared to other browsers?
Fresh e10s install is still much much slower than Chrome and Edge
Why do you need a fast browser when you could be concerned with social justice?

because by default you still have only one process allowed at: dom.ipc.processcount
Set it to 20, for example, and it will be faster
Seemingly overnight, Adblock Plus is no longer blocking ads on Twitch for me. I used to never see ads (unless it was a tournament and part of the actual broadcast)
I received 8 ads in the middle of gameplay on a stream. It's actually unwatchable. I've tried a couple of filters I found from google searching, but nothing is working.
Anyone watch Twitch streams often? What filter do you use to block ads?

We know our language is the best because the shills can't stop shilling against it. I hate google too, but they hired the creator of Plan 9 and created the best language. They studied the mistakes of other languages and improved upon them.
Don't say C or C++ is better, the standard reference for these languages costs over $100, you're a cuckold if you use them.
Don't say Java is better, it runs in a god damn VM and is made by oracle.
What else you got? Rust? D? They're pretty good, but not nearly as good as golang, especially for enterprise applications and applications which require a lot of fail safes like finance.
Writing C code that scales to two, or even
eight cores is quite difficult but not insanely
hard. Writing C code that scales to 64 or 256
cores is very challenging. With a language
designed for concurrency (go), it is much easier.
>Go aims to provide a rich set of features without overcomplicating the language. Contrast this with C++, where even after having worked on a standard library implementation and a couple of compilers for the language, I still find myself having to refer to the spec periodically.

Why should I learn Go? I know C, Java, Scala, JavaScript, Python.
What's in it for me?
How would /g/ hack a neighbors Wi-Fi, other than hours of brute-force on kali or something.

I want to build a silent PC, would anyone point me out how to do it or where should I look at?

Noise-dampened case
No HDDs, put them in a NAS in your closet instead
If you really must use HDDs, get vibration dampeners and put them in 5.25" slots
There are also noise-dampened HDD enclosures that are even quieters, but vibration is the worst
Large (therefore slow) CPU fan
Also my PC is about 5 meters away from me in the other corner of the room. I use 10m HDMI cables and active USB, with a hub on my desk.
Replace all 90/120mm fans with silent ones. That's it.
Noctua fans worked best for me.

Adderal or other jewpills, also you probably dont have adhd.
Don't map out your design mentally. Write out some interfaces as you plan it out. Then you'll have a hard copy of your shit and won't forget it.
Also adhd is a made up disease get over yourself.

I have a Macbook Air and I need a VPN but I have no money. What is the best free VPN I can get?
Pic Unrelated
maybe you shouldn't buy macbooks then if you can't afford something like a vpn ROFL
Sell macbook
Buy chinkpad
Buy vpn unlimited

Openvpn + freevpn.me. Just a heads up openvpn tends to be blocked in some companies using DPI
Can somebody steer me in the right direction?
I have my mind set on this monitor for the most part but is there something just as good with some of the price shaved off? You guys probably know a lot more about this than me, so all advice is considered. I've been using an HDTV (MAG 32MF338B) as a monitor for as long as I can remember and the age is really showing.

Today Chrome decided to once again update and it changed my "default" material to some other that I simply do not want nor like. I had this problem like once or twice before within the past 2 years, but always managed to simply change my current material back to that I want with chrome://flags/
But now I go and look there and the options for the material I always used (which was non-material I think) is simply gone. Only default, normal and touch are available which all look the same and I don't want them. Is there any way to get my old material design back?
I really fucking hate the new one on the bottom of the picture.
>>58011857
just fucking deal with it, you autistic shit.
>>58011907
honestly OP is right. the address bar text is so tiny now, is there any way to make it bigger at least? i turned this shit off the day they introduced it for the same reason, i dont wanna have to strain my eyes while im looking something up
>>58011907
Could you fuck off?
I am not going to "deal with it".
The text and icons are small as fuck now, I can barely see anything when I type something in the god damn address bar and again I simply do not like this retarded design. If you don't have a solution, fuck off you cunt.
