Hi /g/, computer illiterate here.

For a bit I considered learning web development, and doing that freelance during college, but now it appears I've drastically underestimated how much skill it takes to compete in a field over-saturated by third worlders. I'm a Finance guy and this was always a part-time thing, but I still want to double major in both Finance and Computer Science

What should I learn, is Cyber Security or Hacking worth getting into. I don't know if I should abandon computer science altogether or really delve into something like that.

There aren't any Cyber Security or Hacking threads, partially because its probably just edgy autists like me who talk about it, but why not have one.

>too nervous to say anything, just stare at her, my whole body shaking
>a few seconds go by, total silence
>asks me if I want to buy a phone
>I violently signal yes with my head to the point of almost breaking my neck
>try to smooth it up with a really forced and probably too wide smile
>my lips are trembling so much
>she recommends me an Iphone 7 Plus
>don't remember much of what happened after this but I remember I said something like "ahah now I can finally text my friends!!"
>go out the store with a brand new Iphone 7 Plus on a 3-year contract


tl;dr, I went out to buy a Russian dictionary and ended up coming home with an Iphone 7 Plus

so is this even a good phone? I'm a complete idiot when it comes to iphones and such, I never had a cellphone before in my life because I never needed one
What do I do now? I'm staring at the home screen like a retard at the moment

I'm finally giving "chromium-based" broswers another try and have installed Ungoogled-Chromium.

What are some of the best extensions for Chromium/Vivaldi/Brave/Opera? What else do you have installed? Also, which of these 4 browsers do you prefer?

Hey /g/ I know y'all hate 's students but I started my internship today at the college I'm currently studying for. My intern manager said the languages I was learning, visual basic, C# and sql were useless in the real world.
Why would we learn something useless?
