One of the greatest pastas in history.
Anyway, I don't think people will go for it. Most people would rather just get up and leave the room and come back when it's ended.
Of course, combined with the other patent that people were going for a few years ago, where smartphones and TVs monitor your eye movements and pause the advertising if you look away, this could truly be the ultimate cucking of the people. B-but that would never happen, right?

What is up with the late 60s-early 2000 period and it's fascination with squares?!Square cars, square computers, square houses, square gaming consoles. It's especially bizarre since it's the height of space race, you would imagine they would try to mimic aerodynamic shapes of rockets and satellites, but no-squares!

Fabrication of curved panels be it metal or plastic had an ever increasing production cost until manufacturing techniques and alternate material use caught up.

Does any one of you /g/entelmens know how to set text based user interface to incoming conections to my socket server? Im looking for something similar to "dialog" command from the bash shell.
if any one has played with the lanturtle I'm looking to make a similar type of menu you get when you ssh into it(lanturtle.com/wiki/#!./index.md#Turtle_Shell).
Thank you /g/

?
>>58406344
No, I don't want a console for my browser.
What I wanna do is have the socket server listening in a port over 1024 and when I connect to it by telnet get this (image related) type of graphical menu

Red pill me on this issue /g/. Why are several 1080p sources circulating the web just crap compared to 720p sources in terms of FPS? While their resolution looks fine on a still picture they feel like being 15FPS instead of 25FPS in frame succession in actual playback, when the source properties clearly state 25.
Is there a technical issue with most HDTV downlinks nowadays that makes them crap out shitty FPS results?
That issue is not there at all on 720p, and 1080p WEB-DLs. Those play almost always very smoothly.
are you sure you aren't just dropping frames because your computer isn't powerful enough to play the 1080p files? have you tried downlinking some more ram?
>>58406235
still pictures look fine, for sure?
If not that would be a bitrate issue. Usually 2000kbps at 720p will be better than 2000kbps at 1080p
when you go higher bitrate there's a point where they look identical and then a point where higher resolution looks better
as far as your frame rates it's either dropped frames or copied frames too, being an issue with tvs
usually to get that higher meme resolution from shitty ass TV you're going to get the same picture twice for 30fps, so you're really only getting 15fps

How can a foreign company enter to the US market of SD for outsourcing? What would you start from?
And Im also very much interested in the following things: 1. What americans love most about services in general and what is "a must" to work with americans? 2. How companies get to order a software development? In other words how does banks, logistic companies, retailers, and others get to the point that they have to order for themselfs a specific kind of software?
Any ideas would be very kindly welcomed.

Why do you use (((dvorak))), /g/? You still need to use qwerty to get anything done.
I thought his New World Symphony was pretty good, not a meme in my opinion.
>>58406099
Yes it's a fucking meme. All that's going to happen if you learn to touch type with it, is you're just going to be unable to use any computer but your own.
Dvorak user here. Never learned to touch type properly on QWERTY, so I switched and learned touch typing on Dvorak. ~110wpm after a few years, and it's really not a problem to change the keyboard settings when setting up a new device
Hi guys. I just tried on a store a "VR park" controller and it didn't show up on my bluetooth.
Is it possible that my device, a samsung s3 mini, running android 4.1, doesn't support bluetooth joysticks? The specs say it works on android 4.0+
Or perhaps the guy from the store had it in "iOS" mode? i didn't check and now im back home and i'm thinking it's even worth trying again, doublechecking if it's in android mode.
in case anyone cares im trying to develop something on unity, and interactions beyond the magnetic trigger would be a good thing to add to it. And no, i can't buy a newer phone. Not now.

Guys, guys....All memes aside, I think that Apple really is the better phone maker.
I've owned 4 flagship android phones now, from the Galaxy S2 to the HTC M8 - All of them were full of cool features when I got them, and all of them, now my beloved HTC, turn into pathetically slow pieces of shit after just a few years of use.
Why does every Android phone do this? The things just can't hold up over time. I've reinstalled android wiped everything done a fresh restart and this phone is still a laggy piece of dogshit, just like the others. Are iPhones like this too? It seems like every Android phone, no matter how impressive it is on launch is destined to become a laggy piece of shit just a couple years later.
I'm willing to sacrifice all of these neat little features for a phone that just fucking works at this point. Will any iPhone users share their experience?
>turn into pathetically slow pieces of shit after just a few years of use.
iPhones do this too
>>58405995
>Are iPhones like this too?
Absolutely. Just look at the trends of "new iphone launch" and "my iphone runs slower". Apple cripples their older stuff all the time to make people upgrade, the only difference being that with Android you have several other manufacturers to choose from for an upgrade, while with Apple you've got fuck and you as your choices.
>anon finds out about planned obsolescence
I don't save much stuff onto my SSD, because I'm really paranoid about it dying early. Am I just being stupid? Right now I only have my OS and two video games installed on it.
>>58405977
it's going to die suddenly, and there's nothing you can do about it
>>58405977
Expecting a single drive to fail any second isn't stupid. That happens all the time no matter what storage type.
This is why you can't have value data on only one device and that's what backups are for.
>>58405977
It's advised to leave ~20% of it free according to other sites like toms hardware and samsung, and from a bunch of forums where users were worried about the same thing you are in that filling up an ssd basically bricks it. As long as you leave a little bit of it unused it'll still perform at optimal speeds, but over time it might slow down a bit depending on the programs you're running.
