I carried that mother of brick of 8cm T H I C C and 7,5kg machine for 2,5km. It will kill your shoulders if you need to carry it any further.

I did carry a 3.2kg one for about 3 years. Yes I'd like it to be light, but I also would like it to have all the features and connectivity I need. Plus, more powerful parts need beefier cooling systems, which take space. You can't have your cake and eat it too.
Yes, lightweight is great for carrying around, but when you start sacrificing basic features for that extra 1mm less, you know you went too far.
