So I'm scrolling through the Java API right. I see all these cool classes waiting to be implemented but I have no fucking clue how to use them effectively. I'm not completely braindead, I know programming fundamentals. But I seriously have no idea where to get started. Help, /g/?
I feel the same way anon.
I learned some C# and went to school for programming, but I feel like I'm missing some sort of know-how or fundamental knowledge.
I wish I had some sort of road-map that I could follow to make me competent. I just want to be able to figure this stuff out.
>>59210368
At this point I'm just gonna learn syntax when I need too. Fundamentals can be applied to pretty much any language.
>>59210510
Yeah, that's not a bad idea.
I just feel really awful over not being able to figure out things in my head the same way some of my friends can.
They can just think of whatever they want to make and make it. My mind just keeps wandering and I completely lose my direction.
I guess I just really need to practice more.
Why are all n64 and ps1 emulator video plugins written using glide?
>inb4 /v/
They don't know shit
>>59210203
kot
>>59210203
It was the Vulkan of the 90's. Close to the hardware compared to Opengl at the time. Not sure why they still include it, though...

Because developers like it more than D3d/opengl
iOS or Android for business?
Which one is better and why?
Android, cause you can actually do shit with it
>>59209713
iOS. Because part of business success if your image. And while /g/ will frown upon the Apple, people with money will attribute it to your merit.
>>59209738
what can't you do on iOS that you can on android? go ahead, tell me.
ios has 10x more business apps and they're QUALITY apps.
Gonna pick up a Linnmon/Adils desk from Ikea. how fucked am I?
>>59209582
Seeing as its a desk and your own personal living space, I would have to say that you will be fine.
This is also assuming you have sufficient funds to properly pay for said desk.
>>59209582
You're fucked for posting this here and not on >>>/diy/. You'll get bad advice about desks and waste your time.

So now that Intel is dead, will nvidia start making cpus to compete with amd?

So now that amd is dead, will cpus start making nvidias to compete with intel?
What technical reason makes it so I have to pay $30/mo for cable when I only watch a few channels that cost around $1/mo? Is it a networking issue?

For the same reason xDSL is usually bundled with phone services

>I will put this here for people wondering about the gaming results:
>We had a lot of trouble benchmarking games with Ryzen. It seems we weren't the only ones, and many other reviewers have reported strangely low performance here. Our initial Asus board was plagued with bugs, and we saw some gains simply by switching to a Gigabyte or Asrock board. >This really isn't the sort of behavior you'd expect, and AMD even acknowledged there were some issues with some Asus boards.
>While we are pretty confident in our application test results, there could be some unresolved early issues with Ryzen and AM4 boards that is leading to strangely low gaming performance. We're not 100% sure what is going on there; Steve and I spent a while discussing what could be up, >and we ended up confused more than anything else.
>So if you're a gamer that's looking at our gaming results and thinking "that's disappointing", there could be an unresolved story here.
>Of course one possible conclusion is simply that Ryzen isn't that amazing in games, but we're just not fully sure that is truly the case if all hardware was working correctly
>EDIT: Don't get your hopes up about a potential fix. The results we achieved could be it, and you should make any buying decisions accordingly at this stage. The best thing may be to wait a few weeks just to make sure
could also be asus fault.
LOL ASUS screwing over ryzen. go gigabyte or go home
>>59208471
Well, we are waiting... Get it fixed NOW!
>>59208471
>one possible conclusion is simply that Ryzen isn't that amazing in games
Winner winner!
As of today everyone in the house has had no signal on their mobiles whilst in the household, when we leave our connection is fine though. There has never been any issues in all the 5 years we've lived here, so It's quite weird, we don't even have the same providers.
Just curious to see if anyone has an explanation for this, I'm not worried about it for now as it has only been a day.
Someone has a jammer.
The nearest tower went down. When they fix it everything will be fine.
This really didn't deserve it's own thread.
Back to /x/ with your pasta
Why oh why did it have to be Acer? Of all brands why the worst?
>But it's not that bad really
I am religiously opposed to using Acer anything

Amd confirmed for biggest let-down of 2017.
Good thing I sold off at the end of February. I hope you guys make a slight gain off the new doorstops that AMD released.

Deluded madshill
Didn't Nvidia drop like 4% tonight doing nothing?
Rampant shitposting aside, what exactly is going on with Ryzen's performance in gaming? Some sites have the 1800X almost matching 6900K performance, others have it loosing to i3s. This doesn't even seem to be a bias thing, plenty of AMD fanboys are posting ryzen reviews with crap performance, and lots of Intel shill sites show ryzen as highly competitive.
Can we just have a shitposting free thread and talk about what's causing weird performance disparities in reviews.
>>59207496
>>59205681
Last minute BIOS updates that completely changed test results, some sites must have retested, others not.
Just wait a month for mobo producers to get their shit together. This happened with literally every CPU so far.
>>59207496

god you faggots are insufferable. I wish anyone who posts a thread like this dies in a house fire
