If you want help:
>Assemble parts list
https://pcpartpicker.com/
>State the budget for your build (and country if not USA)
>List games/software you use often, as well as your monitor resolution + refresh rate
>Clarify your goal for build improvements: lower price or improved specs?
How to assemble a PC, select components & more (outdated)
https://wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php?title=Build_a_PC

CPUs:
No i5 unless discounted
>G4560 - poverty-tier builds
>R3 1200 - Budget builds (<$500)
>R5 1400 - If you need multithreading
>R5 1600 - Best value for higher fps gaming / mixed usage
>R7/Used Xeon/Threadripper - Compute/Multitask/VM/mixed use, not for just gaming

GPUs:
Coin miners have driven price up and stock down, waiting to buy a GPU might be wiser
>Integrated CPU Graphics - Desktop stuff and very light games
>GTX 1050(Ti) - Lower end budget cards, drop settings on newer games, RX560 beaten by both
>RX570 - [email protected]~hz maxed, running most maxed older games at 100~Hz
>RX580 and GTX1060 6GB - [email protected] maxed, [email protected] at lower settings; RX580 better in newer games
>GTX 1070 or Vega 56 - [email protected] /[email protected] at high
>GTX 1080 - [email protected] / [email protected] maxed, [email protected] in a few games; Probably the highest end card you need for 1080p/1440p
>GTX 1080Ti - [email protected] and [email protected] maxed/high in many games
>Good fucking luck even getting a VEGA right now

RAM:
>Check your Mobo QVL before buying any RAM
>Ryzen CPUs benefits a lot from high speed RAM, 3200 MHz is ideal

General:
ALWAYS LOOK AT PRODUCT REVIEWS!
Always consider an SSD. Try buying a large SSD for what you'd pay for your SSD+HDD combined, and add a HDD later
NVMe SSDs aren't for a faster OS boot, they're for productivity/scratch disk/VMs. NVMe and M.2 are not the same thing, M.2 is a form factor

This is in response to one of the last posts in the last thread. I'm the guy upgrading, likely getting the 1060 and deciding whether or not to upgrade cpu/mobo

>Ryzen Card

I think you may have misunderstood, Ryzen is the cpu

>Upgrade my cpu or not, should I OC? i5 3570k

Doi dude, I'm surprised you hadn't already, you already have the motherboard for it. It's free performance. All you have to do is watch one video on youtube and it's that easy. Preferably watch one using the same motherboard manufacturer as you so you can navigate the bios, then google average overclock settings for your specific cpu then adjust from there since every cpu overclocks slightly different.

my response:

Mistype, not misunderstood. Sorry I'm just got the term mixed up since we're talking both cpu and gpu. My bad.

Yeah, I'm terribly ignorant on OC, I've always been afraid I'll fry my component or something, but it seems much easier than I believed. Is my mobo really not that bad? I honestly figured it was a pos lol, I got it for so cheap when I needed an emergency replacement.

But ok, I'll do that once I get better cooling, since I'm currently using the stock heatsink and fan (my hyper 212 broke a while back). Or is it safe to do it even with stock cooling?

Also will OCing my cpu make it able to handle my wishes? which just as a reminder for the new thread are high/ultra gaming on most if not all games currently and hopefully for the next year (maybe 2? medium would be exceptable) at 1080p

I wanna deep throat Stallman's cock
>>
>>62325702
It's time to face the facts. Richard Stallman is nothing more than a whining, overly obese autistic manbaby who has not done anything beneficial for the computing OR technology world in the past 20 years. Seriously. Name something that RMS has done after 1995 besides bitching, crying, and moaning about bullshit that does not matter, or making some retarded, incomprehensible speech.

He demands that Linux be called GNU/Linux. That is fucking insane. The only reason GNU, GPL, and FSF are still a THING is because of Linus and the invention of Linux. If anything, Stallman should rename GNU to Linux/GNU, because without Linus, the GNU, GPL, and FSF would not be a thing anymore.

Stallman still has the fucking gonads to act like he's superior to everyone else. Saying shit such as "I'm not glad he's dead, but I'm glad he's gone" right after Steve Jobs' death. What an asshole. Stallman has not even programmed a single line of code since 2008, that was AFTER he essentially stopped in 1992.

He should be fucking grateful Linus stepped in to save his ass, and even allowing him to take partial credit for his achievements. If it wasn't for Linus, he would be nothing, he would probably be dead in a Burger King dumpster right now.

Besides, what has he ever even done? He claims to have written eMacs, but in reality he actually cloned gosmacs (the first eMacs that was made for UNIX). He didn't even write 50% of the code in eMacs.

You might say he wrote GCC and GDB, but the truth is that he initally wrote the C compiler, but now the vast majority for the same compiler is done by contributors.

He's a washed up, morbidly obese man who tries to stay relevant by having these retarded arguments that are similar to those found in the Soviet Union. Face it GNU/Freetards, Richard Stallman is a fat dickhead, and the only reason his name is still in the books is because of Linus's achievements.

I've been fucked over by Windows too many times, and I'm looking to switch over to an open-source operating system. I was wondering if I should go Linux or BSD, and why.
Also, Windows hate thread I guess.

he should go back and make his own country great again.

How long until its a reality?

Like, a real blowjob machine, with slimy tongue action and shit, not a barely deepthroat/mouth penetration masturbators that we have nowadays(like the Autoblow 2 and that mouth shaped onahole). I want to come home tired and receive robot head to relax a bit and cum inside it without any effort on my part.

When the nerds developing this get blowjobs. Right now the only reason you got a fleshlight strapped to a motor is because the engineers don't know what they should be aiming for.

>Right now the only reason you got a fleshlight strapped to a motor is because the engineers don't know what they should be aiming for.
I know it was a joke but a real blowjob machine would probably pretty advanced tech.
Right now all sex toys are based around repeated, fixed movement. A decent blowjob one would need a dynamic movement system, like some scanner to map where the dick is inside the mouth and precise motors to accurately swirl the tongue around penis head or something like that, a fixed tongue movement where you had to adjust your dick yourself manually for maximum contact would be lame

Should i get a RX560 2GB or a GTX 1050 2GB (non TI)? Both Gigabyte or Asus.

Its a tight budget, cant get a TI or a 4GB.

My processor will be a PENTIUM G4600 (i3 too expensive)

Google for benchmark comparison. There should be one on youtube.
Also pick AMD if you are on GNU/Linux. Installing nVidia drivers can be problematic
