When training for volume, should I do the absolute max I can rep for 12x3, or should I take lighter weights so I can do a more perfect rep and really feel the burn.

What I'm asking really is; should I focus on feeling the burn and the pump when going for volume?

Not sure if appropriate for /adv/ or /fit/, so I apologize in advance for posting in both.

Im 21, 5'11", 207 lb, male, and have been trying to achieve a leaner, more attractive body (I've been the fat kid in class since kindergarten and throughout highschool).
I have been working out everyday for 3 months, with each session being 10 min of running on a treadmill at 7m/h and 40 min of weightlifting, with no results besides getting my upper body *slightly* more toned - belly and butt and thighs are still chubby.

Is my routine not good enough?
Am I doing something wrong?
I need help, since I'm not financially capable of getting a trainer and am rather unexperienced.

Info you may want to know:
My father and grandfather are also big like me.
Im still athletic, i was on my highschool football team. Just fat.
Can't afford more than 1h a day because of college and what not

Hey bros.

Long story short, I got out of a long term relationship a little over 2 months ago. I waited a month and a half to get back out there, hooked up with a friend who I'm not especially interested in and frankly could not keep an erection but one of our three hookups.

So, there's a few guesses I have as to why this might be:
1). Overall uninterested in sex due to possible mild depression
2). Uninterested in the particular girl I was with
3). Shitty diet of adderall, NOS, and alcohol during finals
4). I was drunk as shit
5). Possible performance anxiety? I had this as a teen but overcame it pretty well and have fucked a handful of girls since

So, what can I do? I've stopped drinking and started eating healthier and obviously exercising more, but I can't get it out of my head that I may be too emotionally damaged / anxious for sex... Which has led me to not even pursue other girls I could be with.

How do I overcome this? Are there supplemens I can take? I can't tell if meditation helps. I jerk off roughly once or twice a day but I think I need to take a break for a while, if at all possible. Has anyone tried it?

How do you guys deal with public speaking anxiety? Public can be small as a 20-person college classroom. Right before I know I must talk, my heart starts beating fast and I just want to leave the room immediately. An almost claustrophobic feeling, I also try to clear my throat and drink some water to prepare for the moment but it doesnt help. Eventually i just say what i have to say
and i just look so unconfident and beta doing it. It's been like this for years but today was the first time I finally came to terms with it personally. It didn't help that it happened today during my first class meeting in a course that it is literally 95% girls.

TL,DR: How do I get over my speaking anxiety?

To make this fitness related, is pic related achievable on diet alone? Or would consistent exercise also be required?

She and I have been wanting to get stronger and have been doing more or less what is in the wiki in the sticky, With me lifting 5-6 days/week and little cardio to bulk up. She does 3 days of 45 min cardio and 3 of lifting with me.
Yet despite the progress she still does not like her tummy.

As noted in the sticky information, there is no spot reduction. The best method of increasing metabolism is lifting (and getting) big and being flexible.

The good news is that size is nothing to even plan around. Girls are limited in that respect. Yet, increased testosterone is hugely beneficial, as it intensifies sensations, libido, and orgasm.

Flexibility helps with form and stabilizers, and it increases fascia size and circulation (and reduces stress, even from tightness) which increases muscle mass potential.

A simple routine is just squats, power cleans, and pullups. It's just about having fun though. If that includes bench press, great; but the key is low reps and high weight.. and beyond the gym, imagining how great it feels to lift.
