Ah yes, the daily "what do you think of SL thread".
Some people will come along and tell you that it is UTTER GARBAGE because it deviates a tiny bit from another program that they like better (usually Starting Strength). I also like SS better, but that's not to say that SL won't work.
I personally think Greyskull Linear Periodization is your best bet though.

But for real just fucking pick one and do it. The differences are so small that your results will practically be the same, all things being equal

My name is Rich Piana. I'm 44 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my nipples are a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach vacuums. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I used two scoops of a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use four scoops of whey isolate, then ten scoops of creatine monohydrate, and after my shower eighteen scoops of mutant mass. Then I inject twenty scoops of real food directly into my intestines which I leave to digest for ten minutes while I prepare my synthol injections. I always use a synthol solution with little or no alcohool, because alcohol dries your muscles out and makes you look older. Then HGH, then test, tren, mast, deca, equipoise, npp followed by d-ball, winny, superdrol and finally a shot of HCG. There is an idea of a Rich Piana. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I am simply not human.
Who rests at the top of their squat here?
Hello everyone, my wife and I are firm believers in holistic medicine and the power of yoga, and it is my belief one can attain both spiritual and physical strength through the combination of these two things.
My son, however, refuses to see reason and take various herbal remedies that our holistic doctor has provided him. He has even gone so far as to get himself penicillin when he was recently very ill, which our doctor found to be an affront, he suggested we stage an intervention.
At this point, I'm not so sure I don't want to do it. He's taken to a weight program called "Starting Lifts" which involves very dangerous and possibly fatal exercises. I am embarrassed to even mention it, but I found various pictures of a naked male in a folder labeled "Zyzz". I talked to my pastor about this, and he said that it was very possibly that he is doing all of this (ignoring his doctor, homosexual encounter, endangering his physical and spiritual health etc.) to rebel, which I agree with.
The real problem occurred, however, when my wife and I caught him with the steroid creatine, presumably which he had injected earlier or was getting ready to inject. At this point, we're ready to bring in our pastor and doctor to stage an intervention, but I don't think it will be enough. Is anyone familiar with steroid abusers and their recovery? We are looking at a little rehabilitation center tucked away that is very firm on the power of both prayer and herbs when it comes to healing.
Please, I could use some advice.

So, I just watched this movie and I'm curious about starting a juicing diet. Has anyone here ever tried a juicing fast? If so, how long, was it successful?
Alternatively, anyone think/has had experience with this being full of shit? Lemme know.
>>35599227
ITT: spending $21 a day to reduce your caloric intake.
>>35599245
I doubt it would cost that much unless you're going for full organic produce. Do you need to juice like 10lbs of anything to get an 8oz glass?
>>35599285
grill in my workplace bought a "juice cleanse" pack from some organic site online - probably promoted on instagram.
3 juices a day. $7 a juice.
I never have and never will buy into fad diets.
Fuck kale.
Wish me luck, /fit/, I'm getting interview tomorrow to become a trainer in a gym. I promise not to preach bullshit and stay /fit/.
>no homo
That's my dream once I've been training for long enough. Good luck bro
You're gonna be told to preach bullshit or get fired.
Your job isn't to make people fit.
It's to make people stay in the gym and sign up for extra spinning courses.
Ideally you want people who sign up for the gym, then stop going after a week, cause if everyone who was a member actually worked out regularly, the place would be packed 24/7.

You just realized that test levels aren't everything?
Thats pretty good man. Thats what most nattys who arent 16 would be at. Youre on the high end of normal.
When I was blasting test prop my levels only went to about 1200
I met a professional local bodybuilder and we discussed the importance of hitting abs. He said that a solid v-taper and abs are acquired by hitting them, 3 x a week. He said he personally never did anything more than crunches and hanging leg raises in high volumes (1000+) he also said that deadlifting does not give you a "thick core" with no vtaper. How true is it that you have to hit abs and not focus on low body fat for them to pop out?

Anyone who tells you to do 1000 reps of an exercise can be safely disregarded.
Hello there /fit/.
I'm 5'8", 172 lbs (174 cm, 78 kg)
I'm about to start going to the gym.
Last year I dropped over 30 pounds in 4-6 months. I regained most of that by now, in fat.
At my lowest weight I realized that I didn't have any muscle on (people kept asking if I'm sick).
I didn't have much muscle before losing this weight, but I certainly lost much of it during this diet.
So my question is, after I bulk up for a couple months, will losing weight be as tiring as it was before?
During my diet I would feel tired all the time due to the caloric deficit.
What's the typical caloric deficit you can get while cutting and still maintain normal functionality in life?
Also should I keep the bulk/cut cycles short, ie a couple of weeks, or long, ie a couple of months?
>no replier
pretty rude t.b.h
fug brah you shouldn't feel tired, not the best way to do it.
currently just bulk and lift as intense as you can, follow a powerlifting routine and mix it up with some hypertrophy stuff, don't worry about cutting yet.
what's your body fat% and lean body mass?
what i did was bulk for a whole year not just couple months, made me gain 5kg of muscle (and a ton of fat).
it's easier that way.
hopefully any of that helps.

Troll/10
Op, just read the fucking sticky.
I'll start off, been lifting one year, how's my progress?
>>35598283
Bump
>>35598283
You look like you've been lifting 11 months.
You need to cut m8
>be 5'9 manlet 140lbs weightlet
>thought I was eating a good amount because every meal made me really full
>put what I had into myfitnesspal today and usually everyday
>1.6k calories
How the fuck do people eat more than that?
>>35597750
hey man, at least it's easier to gain than when you're 6'4" and need to consume like 3500 cals every day. It's a struggle.
>>35597750
They eat a fuck load in the morning, then snacks. Its the only way. You have to eat almost 700-1k calorie breakfast, its the only i can do it.
>>35597759
This.
Where do i start?
In the sticky (read it)
Start with killing yourself :)
>>35597711
Read the sticky then kill yourself
Id delete it
Run it off like the goddamn hero you know yourself to be.
Get the fuck on that treadmill or bike.
Get the fuck out there and just do it.
Ditch the fizzy drinks and snacks. Get on a bike, cross trainer or whatever everyday and drink plenty of water.
How significantly can a person change in 90 days?
Starting this Saturday I'm gonna go for a 90 day challenge and see if I can turn my mediocre life around. Sick of being nowhere in life.
What are you best 90 day transformations in terms of:
>Body
>Workout
>Life
>Career
>Miscellaneous
>>35597390
Not sure but don't get discouraged if it's not to your expectations. You'll make it.
>>35597390
Ok so 3 months is 90 days right? I lost 60lbs in 3 months. /fit/ may bitch about how I did it, but it worked.
First off I chose to lose the weight because I just got out of a 3 year relationship, she broke up with me, and in just a few days was hooking up with a close friend. The break up did not hurt, just kinda numbed me, it was the backstabbing of my close friend that made me go over the edge.
So for the first month I hit the gym I did nothing but use the treadmill. I would walk at 4mph, and with the highest incline I could go with out holding on to the treadmill, I did this for 45 Minuets. At the end usually burned about 700 calories. I would do this for 6 days, sunday off.
My diet was oatmeal in the morning, with orange juice. Yogurt a couple hours later, two honey wheat bread fold overs with penutbutter for lunch. another yogurt or fruit a few hours later, then for dinner was either chicken, or lean cuisine sandwich. If I was still hungry I would eat a pickle because It has 0 calories, but lots of sodium. Which I needed because I was sweating buckets.
Also had a protein shake thrown in there, and my pre workout before my workout. Helped me keep going.
I was eating between 1,200 to 1,500 calories in a day. Some days had to force myself to eat because after awhile you mind changes from always being hungry when fat, to just not wanting to eat.
Dropped down from 260 to 200 in 3 months. All I had was me to keep pushing myself. then went down to 190 a month later. Once I was down 30 lbs I added full body work outs. 3x a week
Bicep Curl. 3x10 (10 push ups after each set, and 20 on the last set to make it so I did 100)
Tricep Extension. 3x10
Shoulder press. 3x10
Bench Press. 3x10
Lat pull downs. 3x10
Then I would go home and do 250 crunches in the nude... Dont know why I did, but I did. I then jerked off, showered, smoked my weed. and repeated this for like 6 months straight.
Also was on /fit/ a lot and read a lot of motivation threads.

Pretty good story, well done!
