Serious question here: Can the body even absorb 80grams of protein if you violently propel it out of your asshole 30 mins after consumption?

Hey /fit/, I'm starting a ketosis diet with moderate exercise for the goal of losing weight and inches. My goal is to become more toned with around 10% body fat, but I also want to get a little stronger. I know cutting and working out for the purpose of getting ripped or some shit crazy like doubling your bench is dumb. But I have very average muscles and want to get at least somewhat stronger and muscley.
I'm moderately active working 40-70 hours a week and walking for 8+ most days, as well as fitting in about 4-5 days a week at the gym for 30-45 minutes working out different muscle groups.
My point being is I'm wondering if anybody has done or is doing ketosis and what their result has been. As well if there was any general tips for diets (like good foods for low carb high fat) or their meal plans they followed as well as maybe certain workouts they did for their goal.
I'm essentially a noob when it comes to fitness so I apologize for the newfag alert :P
I've lost 45 pounds since October doing keto. Keto does two things for you:
1. Helps you curb your cravings so that you can eat at a calorie deficit and not be fucking starving all the time. Many people report not even needing to count calories, they just eat until they feel "full" and end up at a deficit anyway.
2. Breaks your sugar addiction. You are literally, chemically addicted to sugar, much like you might be addicted to caffeine or nicotine. It's sugar, more than anything else, which makes us fat. If you look at obesity trends in the US, they coincide nicely with companies starting to put sugar in every goddamn thing.
As far as WHAT to eat, basically if it's not meat, cheese, egg, vegetables (mostly green... no potatoes), some nuts (e.g. almonds) or water, it does not belong in your mouth, period. ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING SUGAR!! Learn to read labels. If it has more than, seriously, like 1 or 2 grams of sugar in it, put that shit back.
After a couple months, after you're over your sugar addiction, then you can start slowly adding "good" carbs back into your diet. Oats, rice, etc. No sugar of course. And if you're like most people, you'll find that you don't even really WANT sugar anymore.
Don't stress too much about adding strength/muscle at this point. You should still lift, of course, just to maintain what you've got and not LOSE any strength/muscle, but your gains will be pretty limited, to be honest.

So I've been keeping track of my macro-nutrients for the past 2 days since I've started and yesterday I was at 50g of carbs (I didn't split it between fibers and sugars though, just the carbs from eggs and veggies and cheese as well as the only significant sugar was from 2 activia yogurt cups which gave me 28g of carbs (22 of which were sugars)) as well as today I've had about 15-30 carbs (nothing with sugar except some cranbarries, I haven't totaled everything today) so would you say with this trend my second day would lead to a more successful time with keto or would having a day like my first day suffice to make me produce ketones and lose weight in that regard? (Sorry for the long reply and reply time I'm trying to learn as much as I can haha) Thanks for the great info though!

I used keto twice with the most recent time being to cut for 2 months last winter - I ended up losing about 10 lbs in the span of 2 months while doing a push pull legs routine and running after working out.
My lifts definitely suffered and I noticed that I didn't have the explosive energy that I used to have in my workouts however that could have been the result of the volume of training that I was doing in addition to the cardio. For reference I went from 225 Lbs on a 6'2 frame to 215Lbs while eating about 1900 cal a day.
Personally I'm not a fan of keto because of how restrictive it is in terms of what I can and can't eat and I ended up going on a high carb diet after those two months. Personally I don't think keto is a meme however it isn't something I can see myself committing to as a lifestyle, thats not to say it doesn't work wonders for some people.
Check out r/keto for info, a lot of the posts on there are somewhat...... evangelistic however there's some really good info in the stickies. Best of luck OP!

So I've been on his board for about 4 months now and this douche y'all constantly talk about died 5 years ago? Try shutting the fuck up and finding someone else to look up to, to fill that void left by your father who you don't know.
It's not the 8th of May, so...
no homing aside, how often do you hook up with other guys from the gym?
I started going to the gym with the hope that id one day hook up with hot muscular guys. but ive been hooking up about once a month there now.
today some really hot guy just started playing with his ass in the shower stall across from mine, so he came over to my place after and sat on my face while sucking me off.
Depends. At my powerlifting gym, never. At my Soho gym, about once every two months or so. More on the holidays.
>>36499315
Fuck off the gym is for work no wonder no one likes you, you ugly piece of distracting trash go to a gay bar and fuck off. Let people do their workouts in peace
>>36499315
what the fuck guys I'd just started to think we'd stopped being the gay board.

If they were so good then why is my back injury such a mystery to these idiots?
how many inches can you add to your arms in a year natty?
I've gone from 10.5 to 13.5 inches in a year, flexed hard. They still look like twigs though. How long will it take me to get 17 inch arms?
>>36498971
8 hour arm workout every 4 days and nothing else. 91 inches to your arms in a year.

I'm just getting back into shape, its been since the summer since I worked out really, but so far its been going pretty well. I do feel however I'm not getting enough protein in my diet mainly because I am vegetarian.
The powder I have(pic related) has 50g of protein per serving(two scoops). I've so far been feeling a little week and light headed(only slightly) at times since starting to work out and eat healthy again.
In terms of my diet alone I only get a very small amount of protein because I am essentially eating vegan plus whey and eggs, and my food selection is limited to what they have in my school dinning hall. I weigh between 170-180 pounds and I would estimate I'm getting less than 100 g's of protein per week. My diet rn is mostly things like spinach, broccoli, quinoa, hummus, soup, hard boiled eggs, bananas, grapefruit, and other plants. I also try to eat nuts and seeds, but b/c I have no money and only eat whats in my cafeteria I don't get as much as I would like.
So anyway my main question is would having say 2 or even 2.5 servings of protein shakes (100-125g of protein) cause any problems health wise. Any other advice on food and getting enough protein as a vegetarian would be greatly appreciated.
On a side note why does this powder taste so good. Like literally the consistency and flavor is very, very different from any other protein powder I've had before
I meant less than 100 grams of protein per day not week

/fit/, I need some help on how to loose weight. I've always wanted to loose a couple of pounds but never got the motivation to do it. Any advice, on how i can loose the weight, it doesn't have to be extremely fast but just fast enough so i can see progress over time. Should i get a gym membership or just go buy a treadmill at the house? Any food recommendations?
Thanks
>>36498666
How about you take the first step and cut your calories.
Eat less
Before you go buying a treadmill, joining a gym or changing your die the simplest change you can make to your lifestyle right off the bat is reading the fucking sticky

Not that this particular video is any evidence of it, but I find it absurd when people try to claim hes natty.
Why is my stomach looking like this? I am skinny, literally skinny everywhere but there.
>>36498243
Because you keep putting food in your mouth.

What the fuck am I supposed to do between sets? Sit there dicking with my phone? How important is timing your rest anyway
breathe
chill
zen and shit idk it's just like 30 seconds
Superset if you're that autistic.
>>36497649
just fucking chill, don't think too hard about it. nobody else is thinking "why's he resting for so long". I'm guessing you're new to lifting bc when you seriously start lifting heavy you will NEED that rest time.
timing your rest is important for gains. studies have shown 3 minutes is optimal for muscle growth, but I go for 1:30 between sets because I don't have time for that.

My brother gave me his old barbell, it's not that heavy (50lbs) but it's ok for a begginer, can i do bench press just by laying on the floor or does it have to be elevated? i can still make the bar touch my pecs
