Would you recommend doing p90x? This girl I know lost a significant amount of weight doing it and I really want to try it; however, I feel like most of the ads for it only show people who carry just a little bit of extra weight and so I'm not sure.

I did 90 days of p90x and then switched to stronglifts. If I had to do it all over again I wish I'd done 180 days of stronglifts or starting strength or phraks or whatever.

The only reason to do p90x, insanity, or any other similar program is because you are injured or otherwise unable to lift weights.

I've been hitting the gym hard and have noticed I'm getting a lot of stretch marks on my bicep area, and the part of my pecs that connects to my shoulder. How can I reduce or get rid of them. I've been trying a creme for 2 months already and is not working :(

the only thing that improves stretch marks is time

i.e. 1-2 years.

even then they'll just lose pigment, they won't fade completely.

i believe deep stretch marks will also over time shallow up, but they'll always be pitted in the skin & scar.

lasers can "reduce them" (results vary) but they're expensive and will never remove the scar 100%.

tl;dr you cant fix them, just get over it.

How seriously do you take the fitness lifestyle? How good do you expect to look?

5'9 here. When I was 16 I was about 180lbs of video game playing junk food eating fatass (never weighed myself). Decided to lose some weight because I hated my moobs, counted calories for about 3 months then just started eating less and cut to 110lbs. Eventually realised this was way too skinny and took up lifting.

I don't really care about how I look. I'm not expecting or trying to look anything like zyzz for example. I'd hate to be fat again, however I'll never track macros again, unless I'm competing (never) I'm not going to check with my phone to see if I'm allowed to eat something. I eat 100% clean anyway. If I'm hungry I'll eat some sardines and an apple, why shouldn't I?

The truth is great results come with time and the only important factor in fitness is consistency. A person who eats shitty and lifts weird will have way more results after 5 years than the guy who quit and started again 10 times in 5 years doing everything by the book.

Youre not going to be 100% ignorant too. You can subconsciously count calories and aim for healthier foods and slightly follow habits you know are better

That's exactly what I'm doing on this bulk. When cutting I learned to crave healthy food, so now I just eat what and when I want and I'm really happy about it. I'm putting a little more fat on than is needed but I don't care as there is no way I'm actually going to get fat.

Fuck science, I am making them gains and is well pleased, but I is realized I am eating only 1800 cal a day, 200 carb, 130 broteins, and 50 fat and Im still adding about 4kgs a year to my frame.. not huge albeit but Im still making deem gainz on a deficit..

I work out 5 times a week, do three 3k runs over 15 min, weigh 101kg, 6'2, bf 11%.. and Im still making gains.

I work in an office so is this accountable for the lack of needed macros? Or is it genetics? or is it wtf?

I dont drink, smoke, take drugs, fuck I don't even take creatine, protein powders or nuttin, and before you say I closet eat chicken and cabbage at night know the reason the cals is 1800 and why no sups is because I'm a poor office worker, basic butt-fucking paper boy

I'm 25, fat, former smoker and I want to start running. Right now, my mile time is 14 minutes. I want to be able to run 5 miles again, with an average pace of 10 minutes.

Can someone help me develop a running chart? Right now, I am going to keep my route of 1.11 miles until I can complete it in 10 minutes. Does this sound smart? When should I start adding more distance?

I'm tired of reminiscing about the good old days of when I wasn't obese. I want to experience that again.

That's not fiber bro.
6/7 are signs of irritable bowel syndrome, infections(sickness general), or just a bad diet.
Your poops should range from 2-4.

They should be solid pieces, a few 1s or 5s is ok every now and than, if you are always shitting 6 or 7 your stomach is not liking what you eat.

Your food is suppose to be digested, pushed through the track, condensed and than released in a few solid pieces. This process is generally done over night.

You may be eating too much flour based carbs and not enough complex, too much milk, too much acid(from fruits).
It's pretty easy to figure it out anon, just look at your diet.

Does anyone else have this problem? My shorts hell any shorts I wear kinda exposes my junk like in the pic. I tried getting bigger/longer shorts but it does help much. I was doing tighter trunks but it get uncomfortable after a while working out. Any tips?

Hey fit, so I paid like $300 for a personal trainer for a month at LA fitness right? Been going there for about a week now so I thought it would be best to sign up for extra help.

Turns out whatever I've been doing before now was completely worthless. I'm kinda fat but not really fat, my trainer said word for word "These machines are for show, don't waste your time".

Then he went on to making me do some squats and some other things where all I did was use my body.

HOLY FUCK was I sweating when we were done.

So protip; do your research.

Also, he says I should lay off the fast food, so I'm cutting soda out of my diet.
