How the fuck can I not squat correctly? Im a fat fuck without muscles (185cm/6'1, coming off 280lbs, am now 200lbs)
Lowbar kind of works form-wise, Highbar doesn't work a single bit. With high bar I keep tipping forward, even with just the bar. My OHP is stronger than my squat (and my OHP is just 50kg for 5). When I squat I feel like my back does all the work and I've asked several intermediate and advanced lifters to check my form and most said it was correct or only suggested minor changes. I do have really small legs but how the fuck am I struggling with something like 40kg? I also have quite long legs and a relatively short upper body.

If this is for a home gym, then I'd get 4 10lbs instead of 4 5lbs. It let's you get all the same numbers, but uses 1 less plate on each side. Also, 35lb plays are nice but not necessary, I'd get a second pair of 45lbs since deadlift will get there soon (although you could always buy it once you get there).

You can see results from body weight exercising. Actually, you can see a good deal of results from it. Just like strength training and body building, you'll need to lock in your diet also.
You won't see or feel jack-shit if you believe your diet doesn't matter!
My biggest advice to people interested in anything related to health and the body--

Be very mindful that resistant training develops a body that can do MORE than just it's own weight. But if you're interested in just lifting yourself and looking the part, it can work.
