Thank you, /fit.
Today marks the 1 month mark of my training. I have a long way to go, believe me, but I've finally gotten the motivation to do something about my appearance. I'm training hard thanks to some gym friends I made, and eating harder.
All thanks to something an anon said to me a month ago. If you're out there, thank you. I haven't felt this good in all my life.
Pic unrelated.
>>41745189
you will make it anon
>>41745189
Yo are you from CB?
>>41745205
Thanks Anon, I've never wanted anything so bad.
>>41745214
No, I attend classes there. Chances are I probably know you if you do too.
So I get that 1-2 hour workouts are best a few times a week, but I have a homegym now and the temptation is there to go twice or maybe three times each day since I work from home. Assuming I eat enough, would there be any harm in going to the gym multiple times a day? Maybe strength in the morning and hypertrophy in the evening?
It feels like such a waste if I only go for an hour every day
Break up your workout into multiple daily sessions.
Im benching 205 right now and I just realize I will still be DYEL.
I don't want to sleep 8 hours a night. I literally cannot do that I can only get 5 hours max how much will this kill my gains?
Very

Come on quit playing.
Sleep can't be that important.
>>41744852
fucking polyphasic sleep
What mode is this /fit/?

>>41744730
attention whore mode
>>41746601
nice body tho, hit post by accident
>>41744730
oh that's the "I'm a huge faggot who wears my uniform to all my workouts and every gym" mode
Fell over drunk, thought nothing of it and my shoulder was instafucked when I woke up. Taken a week and a half off so far and it's improving fast but fuck I just want to get back in there and finish this cut; eating maintenance, running and foam rolling feels so fuckin' ineffective and boring.
This'll be the first time I haven't made an injury chronic by trying to push through it though so at least I'm making brain gains.
What hurts, /fit/?
>>41744698
If you fucked up your shoulder you should probably get an MRI. I injured my shoulder, thought it was like a light injury, turns out it was a grade 3 separation and I'm still in PT 2 months later...
For someone in an apartment with very little space, is this sort of thing a good idea? Anyone use one? I have a couple of gyms around me but Im in a new city and don't know anyone. I'm pretty awkward and don't want to bother people with spotting me while I lift embarrassingly low weight.
Dude you don't need a spotter. Who cares if you lift low weights?
Don't buy that cuck machine
>>41744664
That's the most bullshit machine I have ever seen. Get over yourself and just join a gym.
>don't want to bother people with spotting me while I lift embarrassingly low weight.
Gee dude, you know, I was able to rep out 225 OHP the first time I walked in a gym and fukked ur crush u kno? Again, get over yourself. Even if you can only bench the fucking bar, it is in fact the place where everyone should start at. Nobody is born strong, so just work your way up.

How do I unlock Rick Taylor from Splatterhouse mode?

He /fit here are my stats:
Weight: 170
Height 5'10"
Age: 34
Appearance: Overall healthy looking, I have a slight belly now.
Nutrition: I drink apple cider vinegar every morning, I eat 3 average meals a day (no special diets)
Daily activity: My job is great, I walk 5-9 miles a day, lift heavy objects, climb, squat, curl are typical movements. I feel my core is much better since working here, but I have lost what little buffs I had added to my arms.
However the challenge is that I am out of energy at the end of my day, and I have lost muscle mass since working here.
What I need:
I need to get rid of the belly fat, tone my abs, build bigger forearms and biceps.
Can you help me figure out a daily routine that I can do to get back on the horse?
Priority 1 is belly-fat
>>41744427
Day 1:
>eat my ass
Day 2:
>suck my dick
Make sure to keep a rest day handy.
Read the sticky my man.

I'm 35. just do 5x5 and drink some caffeine, and watch porn right before you go work out( don't have sex/jack off on the same day you work out.). Works for me.
I just did a handstand push up for the first time
It seems like the ultimate "normie impressor" lift
what is the most and least impressive moves for normies? I think, to normies, deadlifting 500 still isnt as impressive as something personally fathomable as a handstand push up or something of the like
>>41744365
lol normies are impressed by 3pl8 deadlift.
>wow look at that
>that's so many plates!
>he's... lifting it multiple timeS??? :O
>oh my god, stacey! listen to the sound of it hitting the ground!
Sup /fit/. Minor tear in my MCL today, how can I keep pushing to loose weight without doing conventional cardio? >> General injury thread.
Hey.
Been lifting for about 3 months and I want to know how I can gain muscle mass with artificial insulin intake. I am a diabetic so I have everything I need and enough experience with insulin to know how to not die doing this.
>>41744338
Just a few questions
Type 1 or type 2 diabetes?
Weight?
Height?
Body fat percentage?
insulin is overrated anabolic
>>41744663
Type 1 Diabetes
1.80m
70kg
20%

Which day in the gym do you least look forward to?
For me it's arms. Love the results but the "burn" is the most painful of any gym sesh. There's nothing like a tricep burn.
>>41744226
>Having a dedicated arm day
Retarded. Make your brosplit a bit less suboptimal and rotate between chest, back, shoulders, legs 5-6x week
>>41744307
I do arms maybe once ever 10 days
>>41745134
The sooner you do a proper, tested, no bs routine, the better.
hey /fit/ whats your opinion on this temple of iron
No idea. Never been inside one.
looks good from my gym op
ayyy The Edge in Derby. Love the chain but Derby needs a little work as well as Shelton. I've stuck with them the longest over Planet Fatness and have made the most gains.
