Yes, I've 'tried' several times, and yes, heat in some form or another was involved, either a pot on the stove, or in the microwave, or boiling water from my electric kettle.

NOTE: I am NOT having problems getting it to dissolve. It's the viscosity that's the problem.

I've used an electric mixer (the traditional type, with two beaters) to mix it.

Once I get the concentration right, and it comes back down to room temperature, it's too thick, more paste-like than gel-like, and as such it's not usable; you can't even get the majority out of the squeeze-flask you're supposed to put it in, so you can use it while you're riding.

In order to get it back out of the flask to clean it, I had to put it in the microwave to get it thin enough to pour back out.

The viscosity at room temperature needs to be about equivalent to maple syrup at room temperature. A little thicker is OK, it just needs to be able to flow, but not much thicker than that or you won't be able to get it all out.

Depends on what is going through the wire, if you're running a light with a double A battery it's probably safe. If you're running an audio system in your car it very well could catch on fire. If the cables ever separate enough they can arc and cause a fire(or if there's flammable vapors it could cause a flash over or explosion).

What I'm getting at is that there's no way to know if it's safe unless we know what the application is.

I can tell you that it won't work as well as you think it will. If nothing else the glue will eventually become more plyable as it gets older and it won't hold as tightly. And hot glue doesn't like to cling to copper anyways, it will but not as well as fabrics and paper.

What you want to get are crimp connectors, butt connectors, or at the very least wire nuts. But crimp connectors have been used to bond stranded wire for years in applications where soldering would be near impossible or too time consuming, or where there will be a lot of vibrations(personal boats for example).

Hot glue will work as well as electrical tape will, the reason people use it on circuit boards is for stress relief, so if the wire moves it's not putting as much strain on the solder joint, but I personally don't think that's necessary. I've never needed to do that.

And you can get a soldering iron for $10 that'll do an excellent job bonding wires together. It's not intricate work.

On one of the lamps I twinned the strands individually, applied a good layer of hot glue, twin two layers of vulk tape on each cable, apply another layer of glue in between the cables and then two more layers of vulk around the finished cable. On a scale 1-10 how safe does that sound?

Yeah I have been soldering before but the iron broke a couple of months ago and now I'm almost scraping pennies just for good (lot of paid dept last month)

Have you tried running the disposal when it is full of water? 10/10 times my sink is clogged on the disposal side it's because the disposal has stuff in it and not the trap, either stuff that my wife added and forgot about or clogged with fiberous stuff like to much onion peel at once (it was a weak disposal.)

Wild moss in a blender with milk and water, paint it on some kind of substrate. Wood, rock, whatever. If it doesn't hold moisture well (like a rock) use a spray bottle from walmart or something to mist it with water to keep it MOIST but not dripping wet. This is because moss is not technically a plant and has no root system and so can only thrive in damp areas. Keep it out of direct sunlight (or limit the direct sunlight) and around room temp. If it dries out it will either outright die or do dormant. Don't water it, mist it with a bottle. Remember, if you're seeing droplets of water you've mist too much and might encourage mold or something during the early stages of growing your moss. If you want more moss, keep in mind that moss produces SPORES not SPEEDS which spreads by water.

Handle with multiple bits. Get a very nice handle that fits well in your hand. Bits are disposable. You will lose them, break them, and buy more. Make sure the handle accepts standard sizes. In my experience ratcheting handles aren't that useful. The old Easydriver is the only time I've liked a standard ratcheting screwdriver but they don't make them anymore and the knock offs are crap. Bit storage in the handle is also pretty useless. I like handles with solid cores. None of that rubberized plastic shit like in your picture.

Get a set of common size long shank Phillips and flat drivers. Maybe six of each.

And a set with a thousand small bits. Phillips, Flat, Torx etc in all the sizes.

Secret technique I just learned in the last couple years, watching Midway USA and Clickspring.

Get your box of cheap hex bits, and grind the straight slots to the exact size of your screws if you don't have one. Bits are cheap and replaceable. Or find the exact right bit and label it. Like I just labelled the bit for my 1911 stock.

Hex screw drivers are amazing and in most instances there is no reason to not use them. I got a hex torque screwdriver, as well as adapters for my big boy torque wrenches.

The only problem for deep precision screws and nuts you still need a tool with a profile that's no bigger than the screw head.

You could just go down to the store and buy whatever precision screwdriver set, but that's usually the ones with the bright chrome handles and shit machining that your dad had. Fuck those.

Features your need in your precision set:
-A free spinning butt. So you can apply pressure to it while unscrewing so you don't screw your thread.
-A hex shaft, or a hole in the handle so you can put a lever in it to turn it. With a hex shaft (A small shaft, not like the replacable hex tool, I mean the hex shaft is the exact same diameter as the tip and is continuous and goes all the way into the handle) so you can put a wrench on the hex shaft and apply torque that way.

I got a cheap brand that I was pretty happy with hex shafts for my precision set. As I chowder the heads up, I will replace them with Wiha or something. I just reground the big phillips since that sees the most wear, and see if the new edge is good enough, or if it's time for a new one.

I also recommend buying a set that comes in a nice case. Losing your precision set by letting them float around the shop individiually sucks.

Not that I know of more than you, making a wood pipe is basically wood carving. The biggest thing about wood pipes is proper usage, care, and maintenance while using it. That way it doesn't get destroy or has it lifespan shortened.
