Short answer: no.
You /can/ get a low ratio current transformer (try EBay) and run the secondary through your meter. You'll add a small amount of error to your reading, but it's really the only way.

Also, the problem with CTs is they take a certain amount of energy to excite. This means that if you use a 3:1, 600A CT (to read 600A on your 200A meter) it might not be able to give you a reading at 0.1A and if it did there error would be huge because your meter is going to see 0.03A So you'd be better off getting a higher accuracy low current meter for that.

I also just want to point out that the whole assembly is important, including the stepper motor, and it would be quite difficult to replace the motor.

If the green part was removed then it is almost impossible to get it working again. As the wires inside of them steppers are tiny, but you could be able to find them, there should be four ends that you need. Connecting them to another wire would be the difficuit part. The thing I would suggest is trying to unwrap one revolution so you have some room to work.

PVC isn't suitable for that. Use dimensioned lumber and nuts/bolts. 2x4s for the verticals and base, 2x2s for diagonal braces. Steel round bar would be best for the grip bar itself.

You could make one easy like your pic, which isn't mounted, it's free standing, out of dimensional lumber and black iron pipe.

If that's not ridgid enough, I can think of a very solid design using those materials, would probably cost about $60 at the most.

PVC probably won't work. It flexes, and it's lightweight, you want something heavy to work against your movements so it doesn't rock or tip.

the sprays you can buy as an unlicensed user are mostly useless unless you actually find one and spray it directly. foggers are the same. you can take some preventative steps like diatomaceous earth powder around your bed legs, moving bed away from wall, etc etc - there are entire web sites devoted to this evil. but, ultimately, what's gonna work is some powerful sprays from an exterminator doing the whole building, then coming back in 3 weeks to to it again to kill anything that's hatched since.

How easily do these turn into an infestation?

I found 3 hatched eggs in the seams of my bed, and managed to kill one that bit me later that night.

Haven't seen any others around the house , nor have they bit my while I sleep, this happened like 3 weeks ago.

Could an infestation be brewing while I ignore it?

Once you get them, you'll spend months or years getting rid of them.

Harder than flees.

Try this:

Throw away anything that they may be hiding in/on that you can't reach, like a couch.

Hunt them down, check wood, they like wood, and they generally like to be within 2 metres of where you sleep--usually very close to where you sleep.

Then set a perametre of diotomacheous earth around you, make it impossible for them to reach you without stepping in the dust.

Using yourself as bait, they will cross the dust and dyhydrate themselves from microscopic cuts.

After a month or two of this, they should be gone--but if live in an apartment, your neighbours bed bugs might migrate to you again starting the cycle all over again.

Hope this helps--I nearly killed myself because of these fuckers.

Not even trying to be a dick, but either Home Depot or Lowe's (and probably any lumber yard for that matter) will help you do that math if you take in just a rough drawing. They'll probably cut you a deal on the stuff too, like maybe 10% off if you order it then. Not sure about how easy it would be to return what you don't use.

I would imagine it can only be used in very specific types of soil or ground condition... also rust/corrosion... and limited load bearing capability (you don't want heavy stuff focusing on a couple inches of soil and using only friction)

The receiver/filter in the *freon loop is probably clogged and the compressor is just pumping against the blockage causing the high temp.
The inside is hot because it gets no cooling and the heat from the compressor is transferred to the inside.
These units are cheap and repair would be more than the cost of a new one.

There are a few basic reasons why a compressor would overheat.
The big problem is, in HVAC you can break down a system and fix it easily.

Even if you did figure out exactly what the cause was, you arent going to break down and repair a fridge like this. All of the issues are internal problems, like bad oil or low freon, or a bad valve or anything like that causing high head pressure.

You dont have the tools to do it, and hourly work from someone who does will cost as much as a new fridge.

Thanks guys, appreciate the insight. It does cool somewhat but has clearly faulted in a serious manner.

I think I paid $49 for it new and it lasted me a little over a year, for a no name brand I suppose that's acceptable.

I certainly won't be able to do anything about fixing it so I suppose I'll dispose of it and get another.
