anything with a tomato sauce base I like to add some fish sauce to. also rose water makes a nice flavoring for most cake icing.
Apple pie:
Laird's Applejack in the crust
I add vegemite to bolognese sauce. Gives it a more 'meaty' flavour.
Out of my class of 30 students, 14 dropped out (you ring a bell to signify quitting)
It's a grueling 5 year program and you really have no idea what's coming. All I can say is stay strong in your faith in God and remember that no matter what, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I work for LCS in the Stewarding department as management. I'll see you soon OP.
I'll never understand why people would go to culinary school without ever having worked in a restaurant, so many people have these insane overidealized notions of what the industry is like and they just throw so much money away
Anything i can do with my duck before she flies over my neighbor's wall? She doesn't even lay eggs anymore and i can have only one duck, so no mate for her.

Put a feeding tube down her throat and force feed her corn until she dies. Then harvest the yummy liver. Donate the breasts and corpse to the neighbor as penance.
You can give her to me. Ducks are my favorite animals.

What are u having for Friday Night dinner
Grilled carne asada and marinated chicken leg meat. Beans cooked with chorizo. Bratwurst on rolls. Grilled green onion. Whatever snack foods my friends bring. It's friendsgiving today
Prawn tagliatelle (I didn't have any linguini...) with a side salad.
I just ate a mesclun mix with red onions, fennel, green bell peppers and Turkey meat from yesterday evening.
Washed it down with a lime flavored seltzer water.
I'll probably have a few bananas later before I go to bed, but my salad was huge so I won't be hungry for a while.
Ask someone who is about to eat this whole bag of skeezers bread sticks with sauce anything. Anything goes /ck/.
Why?
Why eat pure breadsticks with sauce? Aren't all kinds of bread supposed to be eaten with at least one thing other than sauce?

Something that doesn't require you to use chopsticks.
Personally, i'd eat hummingbirds and raptors.
Fact: I've peed on exactly two hummingbirds in my life
Ghost meat. Probably have to use some science to make it tangible.
>>7115691
I don't think there would be any point in eating a hummingbird. They're too small to have any meat on them, you'd basically be sucking on bones.
I have a bunch of Annas hummingbirds (like in your pic) who live in the redwoods right behind my back patio, and I feed them all year long (they don't migrate, like some other hummingbird species). They dive bomb us sometimes when they're feeling fiesty, like right after I fill the feeders. And one big daddy bird sits on the tip of the nearest redwood limb, and constantly scans for intruders. They're interesting little guys. They all start chirping and making noises at me when I come out to fill their feeders.

That's hilarious. And, how......?

Do you like Ashkenazi food?
I've honestly never seen a knish outside NYC.
I'm technically Ashkenazi and have no clue what other foods are considered theirs, aside from Jewish deli type stuff, which is mostly pretty good.

So I've finally decided to stop being such a pansy and come to grips with using more chilli and spice.
Any tips on how to learn to eat spicier foods? Is there any point?
Maybe sharing any meals using spice/chilli/hot sauces would be a good starting point.
I guess if you want to move up in heat levels it's like any sort of training: Practice makes perfect.
>Up the level of spice every time you make something
>Mix some hot sauce into some ketchup and as you get comfy put less ketchup
>Pour a little drop or two of hot sauce or chilli flakes into various dishes like omelettes or pasta
In short, you're going to have to deal with a burning mouth eventually but no pain, no gain.
Don't bother with insanely hot things, there's a line where flavour and taste will suffer for the heat.
>real tough guy eat da spicy food zug zug
Is there any hot sauce that is tasty but doesn't have a huge vinegar taste with it? I've tried Tabasco, Tapatio and Cholula and they weren't really anything special. Also had Sriracha but that just tasted like ketchup to me. I heard Franks Red Hot is good but it would taste like buffalo wing sauce.
Anybody with experience in hot sauces care to chime in?
