How long will it keep in the fridge for?

I've done up to a few days in plastic wrap. Maybe 1 or 2 days for already rolled and shaped pasta. Shirt turns nasty brown.

Accurate.

You can get longer with a foodsaver. I've had good results after freezing it for months.

For Christmas I got a giant martini glass and a bottle of that Jack Daniels honey whiskey (From different people). So I made a new drink out of what else I had laying around. Pic related.

The result is delicious. Reminds me of a really nice restaurant I used to go to and get girly drinks (I think they used a lot of pineapple) what should I name it? It's got all the citrus flavors (lime, pineapple, orange) but the honey really softens it. It's yum.

Also tell me about drinks you've created.

What do you think of fruitcake? There's a store near my home that sells the greatest fruitcake of all time but only during christmas, of course, and I fucking wait all year for it. Every other fruitcake I've tried is either decent or just horribly dry.

love it
heaps of sultanas not so much of those sugar cherries everyone seems to love
almonds and roasted walnuts
almond icing to top it all off
>>
Love it. I got a very nice one this year for Christmas
>>
Fruitcake is awesome. Even the less-good fruitcakes are still good. I was going to serve a fruitcake I've been aging for Christmas, but wound up with too many baked goods besides. So I'll have on New Year's Eve.

Does anybody else have a desire to go to various fast food headquarters and museums?

Pic related is the McDonald's Museum in Des Plaines, IL. I live in the area so I've been there. Pretty sweet since it's all original 1950s equipment inside.

Do they still sell 15c burgers?
>>
>>7211082
The museum isn't operational, but there's conveniently a brand new McDonald's right across the street from it.
>>
>>7211075
not really
the first ever tim hortons (has a little "museum" bit dedicated in store) is down the road from me though, wish they didn't tear the old one down to rebuild a new one on top.

Canned peas
Canned green beans
Tomato paste
Fettuccine noodles
Eggs
American cheese
Red bell pepper
Carrots
Tons of basic seasonings

Hmm...
>>
You have everything to make a pretty good carbonara.
>>
>>7210772

dice the red pepper and grate about 1/3rd the carrot into the tomato sauce, add water and buillion(if you have it) and chili spces to the pot(chili, cumin, oregano onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper and hot sauce pr whatever)

simmer until the carrots are basically gone, then add the beans and simmer until good. Vegetarian chili
>wa la

cook the pasta for 6 minutes and drain, but don't rinse.
warm the green beans and peas in whatever cooking fat you have(generous but not drowning, a couple TBSP, add savory herbs like thyme, rosemary, basil, etc and lots of salt and pepper. mix the past and veg together ion a hot dish, add 2-3 eggs and minced or shredded cheese, mix it really well. top with paprika and some parmesan if you have it. bake at 350 for 30 minutes
Poor man's lasagna

Hey /ck/

I'm experimenting with Chinese cooking and trying to learn more about the basics.

If I am making a basic chicken lo mein, can I simply use spaghetti noodles? Do I have to pay more for Asian noodles?

Well I mean you could if you really wanted to.

spag would get you something like HK style fusion. Still good, but not quite authentic.

Thoughts on meme cookers?

I kind of like them. Beef, venison and kangaroo just has pretty consistent results. I mainly use it for making bulk quantities of yoghurt. I rarely use it for poultry though. It doesn't hurt that I have an endless supply of zip lock bags.

I've only been to WB once (was in Austin for 2 days).

I got a regular burger. It was ok. Better than McDonald's, but that's not saying much.

Am I missing something? If I go back, what should I get?

This.
You need help with your flavour pairings, not your roux.

Also your gnocchi looks far too tough.
